I'd love for the Flyers to get Joacim Eriksson back.

Yes, they will.

I'm surprised we don't blame goalies for empty net goals.

Well, if they hadn't let in so many when they were in the net, we wouldn't have to pull them late in the game.

I don't know how that makes sense but ok.
i reserve the right to change my criteria as soon as an NHL team brings in a beerleague goalie who lets in a ton of easy shots, ok ?

Well Neil Little suited up for warmups last week. Does that count?

they said Bryz was the only one in warmups [wed] [i think on the radio, not sure]

but, lol at the idea of little ...

just my way of judging all NHL goalies: independent of dollars ... just an "on ice" technical sort of thing.

i'll leave the dollars, cap hits, buyouts & expectations to the GM ..... since i have no say in the matter, or control over any of that

[alot less stress & arguing about such very subjective areas, anyway ]

That depends. Did they score any against him?

Apparently he didn't end up taking warm-ups.

yeah didn't think about that. couldn't they just let somebody go like they did Hovinen though?

edit: wasn't lilja leaving and going back overseas too. if so shouldn't that free up a roster spot?

Bryz looked good tonight. Would have liked the second goal, but it was a solid shot

As someone else said before, two "must win" games and both goalies were very good, but the Flyers in front of them didn't do much of anything.

Team is a mess right now....I mean they can't even make basic shift changes. Really undisciplined and predictable. Plain and simple they lack the right personnel and injuries haven't helped nor has inconsistent goaltending..so everybody bears some responsibility from the GM down.

Soon it will be over....I can't believe I have tix to the Rangers game....

Why is Leighton's name still listed on the roster on the Flyers website? We just can get away from this guy.

Homer let the web editors know that he is bringing him back so to save time later, just leave him there.

Holy crap, that better not happen.

He played well.

Rare time where the skaters let Bryz down 100%.

He deserved the win.

Not at all.

Hate the guy but when you play well, you play well.

I certainly won't be going out and buying his merchandise anytime soon.
