Love Galeev's interview, doesn't bash those who have decided to move to CHL, doesn't plan on following their steps either.

TSN broadcasts most, if not all, Canadian games. Not sure if the NHL Network picks up in the feed in the U.S, of just the Canada/USA game if it happens. Oddly enough it's the Ivan Hlinka tournament TSN doesn't broadcast at all.

There was a Czech site streaming all games for free as well.

Edit: http://www.strizna.cz/archiv/archiv-vysilani-23.aspx All games are still in the archive.

Hoping for something similar this year but it's unlikely.

Last year TSN for certain, (maybe the last several years) as the same crew then departs for the Senior men's WHC. new broadcast agreement with TSN/HC/IIHF

Fasthockey streams those that are not broadcast, i.e. the Ivan Hlinka. TSN has an

agreement to broadcast IIHF U18 and U20 be the host broadcaster providing the feed to all participating countries should they desire to pick up the feed. The U20 is TSN's cash cow.

Maybe in the States no broadcaster (NHL Network) picked up TSN's feed, therefore it was streamed on fasthockey.

yes, London leading the series 2-1 over Kitchener. London I'm guessing will be in the Memorial Cup, I can't see Kitchener taking them out... so Zadorov will be busy until May.

here's the prelim roster for russia, plus we have added Trubkin. There are some BIG names missing: Lisov, Zadorov, Zykov come to mind, Nekolenko.

Do we think Lazarev/Svechnikov have a shot of making the team? they were beasts for U-17 in the Canada Challenge
I think that they could make an impact in U18 too for sure. They were right up there with the best and Sweden will be bringing quite a few -96 forwards(although Russia's -95s are better than ours).

but surprisingly couldn't do much against CSKA in the 96 Russia championship. Even though most of CSKA team was already MHL seasoned, due to the whole MHL team from a year ago being dismantled

Russia plays another exhibition, this time with Russia-96 and wins handily 5:2, goals by Tolchinskiy, Alekseev, Buchnevich x2, Tkachev. Bocharov in goal for 40 min, Serebryakov for 20. Looks like the move to NA may have cost him a starting job.

Draisaitl is sure. Kahun is questionable as long as Sudbury is in the playoff race.
Im exited for Draisaitl he looked very good at U20 WC. Lets see what he can do against players of his age group.

Why him? Injury?

I thought he played great for this team in recent tournament.

The German team played an exhibition game versus Japan today.

They won 6-2. Leon Draisaitl and Marc Michaelis each scored 2 goals. The other goals were scored by Denis Shevyrin and Maximilian Kammerer.
This is all the information I could find. Unfortunately there is noch boxscore for this game.

They play Japan again tomorrow, before they travel to Sotchi on Sunday.

That is for sure. I said it a year ago, he made a huge mistake. Btw, no.1 goalie of RUS NT 18 is Shestyorkin. He made a huge progress this season, what can not be said about Serebryakov. Btw, he would be starter in MHL for sure, a few games in VHL + KHL (Yeryomenko was injured for a long time)

I can't be in the loop always of what hockey is broadcast in the U.S. and on which platform. ))) Cheers. Hope all is well there States side....have to make a venture this summer to N.E. and then on to upstate N.Y.

Ya well, as long as Hockey Canada wants to float things out there like Marc Mathot is being considered for Sochi, which leads me to believe they aren't really all that serious about 2014, then I'm forgoing any travel preparations to the Russian riviera in February 2014. If HC doesn't give a **** why should I? ))))

besides, I flew back from Moscow in February 2010 just so I could be on home soil for the gold medal game. So, I am committed to my team, but HC leaves me guessing these days, unfortunately so.

Dang even Hockey Canada is trying to get on the HF Boards excuse about "we don't care about Tournament X, therefore it doesn't count."
