Yes,the Blues announcers are bad,but they aren't as annoying as the Avs duo with the "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!" bs. :p

They wouldnt be allowed to be as funny as they are. And chase would have to lay off the refs. The enthusiasm those CK & KC have is amazing though.

As far as radio guys go, I cant stand detroits radio guy. When detroit scores , he sounds like a prepubescent clown with that voice of his.

I think with more time Rob would have been fine he definatly knows the game and that is the most important aspect of that.

I agree. As bad as he was on tv, he was great on the radio. I think the nerves were his biggest enemy.

Well, if Wilson is the play-by-play... and some people have noted that Federko used to be OK when not paired with Wilson... either way, the play-by-play is excruciatingly boring.

As for the Florida and Tampa play-by-play guys, maybe I'm not giving them a fair enough shot because I've only watched a couple games each this year but neither seemed to be overflowing with relevant knowledge compared to other good announcers in my book.

Someone mentioned the Devils crew as being good and I have to agree. That guy has a very good voice. Sounds a little bit like Vin Scully for the Dodgers... he also knows his stuff quite obviously. It's a good thing that crew is top-notch because there usually isn't enough excitement on the ice to make me want to watch for very long!
