That's kind of my point. I really have/had no ill will towards the Habs, and a lot of respect for the turnaround your team has had (). I just hoped that there would be some more understanding for how it feels to be a fan of a basement-dweller. Hence my annoyance at the ole, which any non-Habs fan will tell you comes off as putting down the other team, not as cheering on your own. Just my two cents, I'll leave you guys to celebrate in peace. I'll be rooting for you over Toronto or Boston in the playoffs.

Loll Bergy calm down, it was Bouillon's first fight of the year, it won't become a habit, nothing will happen to your baby.

Best thing is that they played a full 60 minutes AT LAST for once.

Just be thankful that they only did the ole song.

Would not have surprised me if they would have broke out the na na na, hey hey goodbye song..........the absolute WORST song ever sung at a sporting event.

Classless isn't cheering your own team with your signature chant when all the home team's fans have left the building. Classless is whining about it like the coach of the team you root for. A team, by the way, which hasn't clinched a playoff spot yet while the Habs have. Would you have laughed in someone's face if they told you that before the season started? Does it mean Habs fans can laugh in yours now? Those questions both have the same answer.

Peter Budaj has more wins this year than Jaroslav Halak. Didn't see that coming

Still beats the living **** out of "USA-USA" chants. No offence obviously. But that's as unoriginal and lame as it gets.

A lot of fans have ragged on the coaches in Hamilton this season but watching Beaulieu tonight has to make Sylvain Lefebvre feel pretty good. He has prepared several youngsters quite well this season. Man that #40 can really skate. +6 in 4 games.

Agree, but on the other hand, there was so many empty seats already when chants started, I'd gess the Habs fans in Buffalo probably felt at home or something.

It's definitely new scale of insulting when you are the one doing it in the other team's building

8 games to catch the Penguins, 3 points away. Looking forward to beating the Laffs on Saturday. All is good in Habs landing.

Don't worry, we'll text all the Hab fans in attendance immediately and let them know how many classless Subbans they earned.

That chant ranks right up there with the na na song at a hockey game.

Funny as hell when Boston does it, the majority of their players are Canadian.

We only have once chance to "write our own fate" by beating them. So let's make these games count!
