Beaulieu as 2pts in 4 games and a splendid +6, 5 shots with 15 minutes/games
His defensive game isn't perfect, but still......impressive for a rookie

Hence my annoyance at the ole, which any non-Habs fan will tell you comes off as putting down the other team, not as cheering on your own. Just my two cents, I'll leave you guys to celebrate in peace. I'll be rooting for you over Toronto or Boston in the playoffs.
Habs fans are so passionate, as much as you think it's insulting we do it almost every game we're winning

Beaulieu seems head and shoulders ahead of Drewiske.

When Diaz comes back does Beaulieu fit in the top 6?

He could, if he continues to play like this Therrien is going to think twice about sending him back down.

The best part of that goal was Myers cringing and turning away from Subban's shot.

I'm very happy to say that I was completely wrong about this team. A playoff spot? Maybe. But competing for 1st in the East? No way did I think this was possible. Just an awesome story this whole year.

For the first time since the Roy years I think we have a REAL shot at a cup this year. Even if we lose in the first round though it won't matter... we are at the start of a long run of competitive hockey.

Feels good to not talk about rebuilding anymore.
Holy ****. You are not going to talk about the rebuilding?

We might truly be the deepest team in terms of dmen who can BOTH score and defend.
Subban
Markov
Diaz
Beaulieu
Emelin, even

Markov - Diaz
Gorges - Subban
Bouillon - Beaulieu

If this could work.....i dont know defensively, but offensively it would be the most dangerous offensive defence in the whole NHL and probably one of the best PP too!!

It looked like he learned his lesson blocking Subban's shot right before Subban set up Markov.

Drewiske-Gorges would be a better 3rd PP pairing because Whiskey has the better shot.

Probably have to go back to 1994. We finished a whopping 20 points ahead of the 5th place Nordiques in the division.

Habs fans should come up with many songs, like Arsenal fans lets say. We only have the ole ole, Allez Montréal, Na na na.... We need to be original and have songs for all situations. And have an Ultra section in the Bell. Even l'Impact has that.

We now have Galchenyuk and we'll have a bunch of picks in this year's draft. We've arrived a year or two earlier than I thought we would but we are there. We have a Norris calibre blueliner, strong number one goalie, some good young scorers and a couple of good young defensemen on the verge of joining the team.

REBUILDING IS DONE!

Let Calgary worry about it now.

The wrestling fan in me wants to hear the Bell Centre chant this.

That defence would be worth a try for sure if Beaulieu keeps playing this well. Let's face it, if we are going to win it all this year, we're going to do it by having a ridiculous transition game like tonight, incredible team speed and constant offensive pressure. So loading up on as many PMDs as possible makes sense.

On draft day, I was so scared that the BlueJackets would pick Galchenyuk. So happy that they decided to pick Ryan Murphy. This could be the big break that help to speed up the rebuilding process.
