Loved seeing Big John take a run at Staal and TB talking **** to Semin. Hard fought W. Keep it going, fellas.

2 points! Awesome. Loved MoJo fighting at the end there. Erskine and Backstrom were amazing. And yep, Holtby was terrific.

Tampa next!

Highlight of night was Laughlin calling Holtby an option QB.

Two ugly wins in a row. I'll take it. Not their best game by any standards, but they definitely worked hard and came through missing 3 top 9 wingers. Erat will make such a big difference when he comes back. It'll give the team 2 dangerous lines to go along with a strong 3rd line. Go caps!

These two wins were hardly ugly wins.

Carolina puts up a boat load of shots on every team. Look it up. I think they put up 40+ shots on the Bs a few nights ago.

Plus, I thought we did a very good job on them after the first 10 mins. That 2nd period was ALLLL us. There was a point where they barely had any shots at all. In 10+ mins.

These are fine wins.

Between some wondering why Sasha is in a slump (reasons: got his contract, or he's hurt) and calling Brouwer classy and he needs his teeth knocked out, the Canes GDT is some what entertaining to read.

Yes. There was some community event with Elliott from Elliott in the Morning (local radio morning show) at Nettled or VC. Not sure which. Somehow Elliott convinced Broueer to do the Gangnam Style dance, so theres a video of it. They play the video and song when Brouwer scores.

Brouwer with 15 goals. Not a bad half season for our leader.

No.

Holtby's the only one I'd classify as having a "hell of a game".

4th line, such as it was, seemed to as well. Beagle especially.

Brouwer has more goals this season than Datsyuk, Giroux, Eberle, Perry and Kessel. Mind blown.
