Forget this year. How should the roster look in 13/14?

I'm pretty high on Ullmark as well but don't think he'll be NHL ready for 3-4 years, by then hopefully one of hacket/enroth will emerged as a solid NHL starter

By reading some of these lineups I assume posters will be praying and hoping for a top 5 draft pick for many years to come, sheesh...

Rebuild? I think if we get a top 5 pick this year and next year we can be a legit cup contender by 2016-17

Of course, whether Vanek and Miller are still here is probably mostly up to them, and I won't hazard a guess as to how that turns out.

Again, I don't see the point in sinking any money into the roster this summer. Next season is really just a bridge for 2014-2015, buying development time for Grigorenko, Girgensons, Armia, McNabb, McCabe, etc. A lot depends on how they come along and if Regier can acquire a top player or two in the draft. If Vanek and Miller get traded of course they could return a top NHL-ready prospect as well.
Bolded for truth.

So many people don't have Tropp on their team and I think that's a big mistake. He absolutely deserves to be on the team. Statistically, he's Ott without taking (and drawing) a ton of penalties. I'm not saying he should be on the top line but he'd be a lock if it were up to me

After seeing all these lineups I am seeing Miller, Vanek, and Stafford gone but not one NHL ready player in return ? So we trade them all for picks and prospects ?

Why are people enamored with the concept of adding Yahggre? I would think his next one year deal will be with what he seems a contending team - which to me, wouldn't put us high on his preference list.
