Lucic is either not 100% healthy or is having issue at home with the New Baby Possible.
I can understand the scoring Drought but not his lack of physicaal involvement. I am not sure what up with Horton either maybe their or day when his head is not correct.but what i know these guys can't go imto the playoffs like this.I would not mind seeing Lucic given a night off and up in the box next to Cam.

I'm so sick of the Lucic is a new daddy meme! Worst excusemongering I 've ever heard. You really think he's getting up at 3am for feedings the day of the game...lol.

Lucic needs to start executing his game like he is capable of. Spare me the new daddy crap.

well Maybe there is a illness you both don't know what happening in the man home.
I think everyone here has jumpe to conclusion on why a player has not performed. alot of people called out Rex a few years ago and then we found out he was battling Kidney stones.

I understand 100% if the baby is ill. That's not what I'm alluding to. I'm responding to posters
who are talking about the normal adjustment parents make to a healthy newborn.

I raised children myself. I have a now adult daughter who spent weeks in Boston's Children Hospital with two chest tubes in her when she was 8. After the initial couple of days I had to go back to work everyday. I know what its like and if his child is healthy then the daddy excuse needs to cease.

Valid points have to look more closely to see how much out of shape he is. I am dissapointed in his play especially the physical game of it.

Lucic is someone who I thought would start slow this year and slowly work his way into game shape ,instead as you suggest he seems to be out of shape.I thought he started out the year very well but perhaps the dynamics of a shortened season have affected his game.Even when Lucic is on his game he occasionally makes unwise decisions with the puck but he is doing it on a regular basis now.
