playing out the string. 7 games to go. 14 points ut there that we won't get all of. No hope right.

Well, I still have a flickering light of it. A win tonight, coupled with Chicago hopefully beating Detroit tonight sticks us 4 back of them, with them having a game in hand, and 2 H2H left. After us, they have 2 games in Western Canada, host PHO, NSH and LA, so no gimmie schedule for them.

My hope is getting tonight, finding a way Sunday, and then Forsberg injects some life into us Monday and who the hell knows from there.

Again, not likely, but the little e in the standings haven't appeared next to our name yet. Go Preds.

and I will throw it out there, if Suter is hurt for a few games, Minnesota is in trouble. A good at home Columbus, a tough 3 game swing with games vs EDM and SJ and closing out at home with games vs LA nad EDM are not gimmies. Even more trouble if Calgary or Colorado want to keep fighting. Would be awesome for MIN and DET to miss.

I still have hope to knock DET out of the playoffs while preserving a ~#7 pick. Will watch and drink, but mostly drink.

Making my final trip up from Birmingham this season for the game tonight.

Hoping to at least see a goal or two- please not another shutout!

What is really crazy, and what gives me real hope for next year, is that despite having a horrible season, with a ton of injuries and just about everything going wrong, if we had just TWO more wins, or even winning a few shootouts that we lost, we would be right there for a playoff spot-

lol at the positive pollys

tank! mason being in confirms the brass feels the season is done (it is)

from the research ive done and where we could actually pick... barkov would be amazing for us if we lose enough to pick at #4

Can we not start up with the nicknames like "positive pollys" or whatever. That never turns out good.

I would crawl on my hands and knees from Birmingham to Nashville if we somehow wound up in the top 4...

I don't think Mason signifies the tank, but actually a tryout for next year. He had 2 good games and then shelled the others, but Rinne got scored on at will several times as well during that stretch.

I think if Mase plays well hes back as backup next year, if not then he retires.

The game tonight should at least be fun to watch. Hopefully Robidas is used as a punching bag again.

I'll be there hoping for a 6-5 loss. I want to tank, but I want to be entertained as well.

I don't think Rinne has played well this last few maybe because he has been run into the ground. Trotz has run him so much because they haven't been getting the offense they need so giving him a night off may be good for him. As for Mason, he has it in him to be a good goalie. He just needs to find it again. A number one goalie? Probably not but a good one, yes.

And too bad I read the previous post at five minutes to six or I may have drove up and got a ticket. But I did see Alabama play UAH at the start of the season and they are pretty bad compared to a D1 team. I'd like to see the SEC actually make all the teams D1.

Yeah- UAH destroyed them. Bama is really good at the club level, but I agree I'd love to see SEC go division 1- I think it would be successful at some schools

I saw the UAH vs Wisconsin games on TV. Blake Geoffrion's 2 brothers were the stars of the team. UAH looked like a fair to poor WCHA team, which is good for a team from the Deep South.

Tank!

I hate it when they put the game on Sport South. DirecTV just throws the game where ever they just seem to want to.
