Preseason games on TV

Does anyone know if any of those games will be broadcasted on TV anywhere or is the game vs. Senators on Monday, September 25 the only one I will be able to watch on CBC?

Thank you.

I must be blind, where do you see that that game is televised on the site? On the calendar?

EDIT: Never mind, found it.

Last season they broadcasted only two pre-seasons games, the last ones if I remember correctly.

I can't believe RDS wouldn't make good money with them... even if they got a third of their normal Habs audience it's still more than they'll get for the Jays against the Yankees (Sept. 19) or À COMMUNIQUER (Sept. 23)

Although kudos to their schedule search on rds.ca for going so far in the future.

Yeah, this is a true bummer.

Of course, hoping that the opening Boston game will be broadcasted by the away crew is a little silly, isn't it?

Never underestimate the drawing power of a communiquer. Many people will tune in to see what's on, just in case. But seriously, the Jays game probably costs them next to nothing as another station is already broadcasting it, as opposed to a Habs game that RDS would have to broadcast themselves from scratch.

That game is not on the CBC lineup for September 25th, it is instead "Pretty Woman"...

I see that, yet the Canadiens website says otherwise. It would make sense for the game to be on tv as it is the hockeyville game I believe. The CBC schedule must have been done a while ago and probably changed by now.

RDS sucks, I'm pretty sure 90% of HFBoards Habs fans who have RDS would watch all pre-season games if they were showing somewhere

I have Leafs TV (because I have Starchoice) and the disappointment you get when you try to watch a Leafs-Habs preseason game only to see it blacked out because you live in Quebec is hard to take.

At least, it was for me last year.

A couple years ago, you could catch all the pre-season games at the Cage Aux Sports. I don't know if they plan to do this for this year.

In addition to having some sort of direction on when they are going to step into the 21st century with some HDTV broadcasting.

Guys,

Any possibility of anything similar happening this season? Who would I have to contact to find out?

Thanks.

I imagine you will be able to go to the Cage aux Sports to watch them, just like last year.

Anyone knows anything about this?

Are you saying 10 % of us are too stupid to find the on button on our TV?
