Power plays were 11-1 for Kamloops. Stacey Livingston, I presume?

On the bright side that Kale Kessy trade isn't looking to bad. Kessy's lighting it up with Kamloops in the playoffs, he has played 10 playoff games this year and has 11 goals and 2 assists! A playoff point per game player, and a goal per game player for that matter!

http://www.whl.ca/roster/show/id/680

Speaking of Kamloops they defeated the Spokane Cheifs tonight 4-3 in Overtime(Kessy with OT GWG) and sweep the Cheifs to move onto the Eastern Finals. Portland did the same, sweeping. They swept the Kelowna Rockets and will move on to face Kamloops in the East Final. Looks like a good final. (1) Portland VS. (3) Kamloops.

So now we just wait to see who wins the series between the Calgary Hitmen and Red Deer Rebels(Hope they come back) and whoever wins that series will face the 1st seeded Edmonton Oil Kings in the West Finals. Then whoever wins between Edmonton VS. Calary/Red Deer will face whoever wins between Portland/Kamloops for the WHL Championship. This will be a great next couple weeks. Go Rebels and Oil Kings!

Rebels VS. Hitmen, Game 5, Do Or Die. Let's take it back to Red Deer for game 6 boys.

GO REBELS GO! LET'S GO BOYS!

The Rebels fall 5-1 tonight and lose to the Hitmen in this series in 5 games. Nice try boys. It was a good year. Alot of positives came out of it. Nice try. Let's start and finish strong next year boys. Go Rebels Go!

Now the Hitmen will move onto the East Finals to face the Edmonton Oil Kings. The Hitmen will have there hands full forsure. LET'S GO OIL KINGS!

Overall: 4/4 and remaining perfect on my picks!

With round 2 being a lot less quicker than I thought, i'll say round 3 doesn't go that close either.

Edmonton in 6

Portland in 5

Oh sweet Lord is Portland/Kamloops ever gonna be a barnburner. Anyone got an injury report for that series? Hopefully all the big guns get in there.

U R Such a blazer hater! Oh well, i don't think anyone is picking them for this series! Anyone but me! Its gonna come down to goaltending. Carruth is probably their weakest link, he gets rattled very easily and our fans are gonna be all over him.

For the Blazers side Colin Smith and Tim Bozon have been out. Smith will be back for sure and I would imagine Bozon will be too.

Those two are needed for them to compete with Portland.

Edmonton in 6
Portland in 6 less if those two are out.

No man. Im not. They could pull off the upset for sure. But I dont think they will. Portland is just too strong.

I think Kamloops, Calgary, and Portland are all capable of beating the Oil Kings in a seven game series. I dont think anyone else in the WHL is though.

Ill be pulling for Kamloops. They had some great games vs Edmonton this year.

I'm loving the optimism. Drinnan mentioned that smith should be good and bozon might be available late in the series should it get there. If its half as good as the series last year ill be very happy. Discipline will be huge, I can't stand leispic/carruth couldn't imagine playing against them. Also expecting big things from the east, hope the battle of Alberta is epic. Funny that its better competition than oilers and flames.

When the WHL’s conference finals begin next week, Shaw TV will be showing the series between the Edmonton Oil Kings and Calgary Hitmen. That series begins with games in Edmonton on Thursday and Friday

LUCK and Good Goaltending got the Hitmen that win. Not trying to make excuses but it's the truth. We severely outshot them and should've scored on one of those first couple chances in Overtime. Oh well, it's still only game 1. We're still the favorites. I know we will come out strong 2mrw in game 2 so let's do that. Nice try boys.
