I would go with the veteran John Erskine, because he's physical, good defensively, logs #4 minutes, can fight and has postseason experience.
However, in the long run I would go with Dmitri Orlov. I think the kid shows a lot of promise and once he cements himself as a legitimate top 4 D on the Washington Capitals blueline he will begin to catch some people by surprise.
