Carter and Richards have both scored in the first.

No help whatsoever from the fellow bottom-dwellers tonight: Carolina, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, Florida all lost and Colorado is down 2-0 in the first.

did not expect any help from any of those teams honestly.

Colorado did rally to force a SO.

1,184 points (432 G, 732 A) in 1,484 regular season games.

111 points (51 G, 60 A) in 159 playoff games.

He won a Cup in 2006 and two Selke trophies in 2006 and 2007.

His numbers are good enough IMO and add that he was one of the better two-way centers of his era. I don't think he's a shoe-in or a 1st ballot guy but I think he has a pretty good shot at making it in one day.

Dont think so.. Is he worthy? I would say sure but voters seem very strict for guys like him

For instance Ex-Hawk Steve Larmer has been turned down despite

1006 GP
441 goals
571 assists
1,012 pts

140 playoff games
56 goals
75 assists
131 pts

Calder + Cup

I'd imagine that the two Selke's weigh a bit more heavily than the Calder.

Larmer's point totals are also less impressive considering his career was entirely during the highest scoring period in NHL history

larmer and propp had eerily similar careers. Except propp lost in the finals 5 times?

I think the next person to get in the Hall with Flyers ties is either Shero or Lindros.

Nashville is now officially free falling losing 5 straight games. New Jersey would be right there with them if it wasn't for all the loser points. We really need some teams to step up in the remaining weeks.

What is Nashville's problem...scoring? Haven't really followed them. It's a joke that they have a franchise player like Weber and now are competing for a high lottery pick. Wouldn't be surprised if somehow they won the lottery! Jones and Weber...

I haven't watched any of the games but looking at the scores it looks a little bit of both but mostly offense. Here's their goal totals from the last five games 1,0,3,0, and 2.

Also interesting to see Pitt with letang and Malkin up for UFA

I think if possible need to trade briere this offseason and whatever for a first.

Unless you are adding our 2013 2nd (35-40th overall), you aren't getting a 1st for Briere--who won't waive anyway.

He's bought out or back next season, IMO.

Yea wishful thinking. Concussions have single handedly crushed this franchise

Seems like Malkin is out tonight against Florida due to bad sunburn.
