We go through this every season.

Just don't come in to the thread.

8-1 start for the Braves. I expected them to win early on with cupcakes like the Marlins & Cubbies in the mix, but the way they've done it has been impressive.

Here's a little background on Evan Gattis, who has been playing in place of Wally Pipp...err Brian McCann. Definitely an interesting read.

It sure would be nice if this was the game was the turning point and they can string together a nice winning streak

Baseball is my 2nd favorite sport after hockey. I like it because it's so different from hockey. It offers something different. Why would I only want sports similar to hockey, when I already have hockey to fill that need?

I also really like watching tennis. I like variety.

Carlos Quentin is the epitome of stupid.

Hit by a pitch on a 3-2 count late in a 2-1 game, and he charges the mound? Now Greinke is out 2 months or so with a broken collar bone. Hope he gets hammered with the suspension.

I hope he's okay.

But in news that surprises no one, a high expectation Toronto team is gigantic disappointment. That didn't take long

No way they can send him back when McCann returns. 3 catchers? Cut Laird?

Well, saying "no way" is a stretch. I mean, Jeff Francoeur had a hot start to his career, too.

I need to start watching the Braves. They're out to a 9-1 start, without B.J. Upton even producing yet. Hopefully he gets going. My parents will be coming down from Buffalo in May to visit and I think we're seeing Braves vs. Dodgers then.

8 games for Quentin. I sincerely hope they don't take any away on the appeal. He should have gotten more.
