I was scanning through old threads last night and I rediscovered this:

Quote:
Henrik Lundqvist, full of grace.
D. Hasek is with thee.
Blessed art thou among men,
and blessed is the fruit of thy performance,
glove saves.
Henrik Lundqvist, stopper of pucks,
pray for Brad Richards,
now and at the hour of his buyout.
Amen.

I have predicted the future!

May as well be called the Roman Coliseum tonight because this game is going to be a war. Let's go Rangers!

I think Herb Brooks said it best:

"If you lose this game, you'll take it to your grave..your ****ing grave."

Watershed game for the franchise tonight. Emerging Islanders vs mostly struggling Rangers. Sounds like a bad movie from my youth. The Rangers can not come out soft and docile tonight. They have to be hard on the puck from the moment it drops. Let's Go Rangers.

I'm glad Brassard now has Zuccarello and hopefully a head-finally-out-of-his-ass Hagelin to work with. But that Clowe-Richards-Boyle line will be an issue. Poor Clowe.

I found this to be absolutely hysterical considering how much the word 'talent' is thrown around this board. Well played, sir.

So glad the rivalry is relevant again. The last time we played an important game against the Isles was in 2007 when both teams were fighting for a playoff spot, similar to tonight's game. Hope it's a good one!

2 good goalies and 2 teams in great shape. Dont think there will be many goals in this game.

3-2 NYR on shootout ?

I cant wait. Going to sit up all night and watch this. Tavares vs Nash

As much as I enjoy the occasional 352-1 game, I'd prefer he didn't.

I remember when Glenn Healey came over in 93, he said that to the Islanders it was always more than just another game...as a long time fan I can say that unless it's the playoffs the Rangers don't approach Islander games the way the Isles do.

Boyle has now been promoted to kill all offense on our 2nd line. Frigging awesome.
