Lassila is traded to Omsk for two prospects F. Kozlovskiy and V. Kalnoy (the latter sounds like a prison nickname, lol), both of them were already playing in the Barys' system...no rent in the KHL? lol

No. Both had contract with Avangard untill 30.4.2012 (if had any), then drafted, did not sign contract with Avangard but with Barys. What is the problem? KHL drafted player by Avangard can play for Barys in VHL/MHL/foreign league , but not in KHL. That is why Barys wanted to aquire their KHL rights from Avangard.

Easy

Doubt it, I think Magnitka will go with Geleshvili and Pechurski this year. Gelashvili was great for them until he went down with injury in the PO... I bet SKA goes after him, unless they are counting on Bryzgalov getting bought out, or getting some other NHL guy. Either way, count on SKA going after the biggest goalie fish in the market, so if Kosechkins that guy guess where he goes.

I read that Afinogenov is SKA's highest earner with 4M per year, so this doesn't look plausible.

Gelashvili will not resign with Magnitka. It was announced a month or so ago.

Although it may not be true it looks plausible and that means just one thing - Russian KHL clubs are overpaying really bad

Where is written that he is NOT worth of this money? Dont give me examples of NHL contracts. I dont care about them. KHL is not NHL, like La Liga is not Bundeliga

Is that you, Cpt. Obvious?

Forget Bundesligas and NHLs; Vehanen was payed no more than 1,5kk. Barulin gets 3kk, Yeryomenko - no more than 2kk. And you are saying Koshechkin is worth 5?

Hannu Jortikka said this as well. Amur lost most of their key players after the 11-12 season and replaced them with players that would have barely fit SM-Liiga squads and when he saw how much they were getting paid, he was just and at his clubs management.

If Morozov really is leaving Petrov is going to get 1st line minutes making his gamble on the NHL career even more unlikely.
