Hope so. I would like to see Depres get some playing time in these so called "pointless" games.

The line rushes had Eaton-Engelland as the third pairing while Despres skated with Bortuzzo. But it looks like Despres was working with the second-team power play in practice, so that could be the more telling sign.

I would be fine with both Eaton & Engelland sitting and Despres & Bortuzzo playing. Eaton has been fine and Engelland has been spotty but other than the number one seed the Pens don't have much to play for and if one D pairing is the difference between a win and a loss vs. Florida they probably aren't playing well enough to win anyway.

Kind of anxious to see what Bjugstad can do. So much talk about him since he was drafted.

I'm hoping the new guys have another good game.

It's really amazing how different our transition game is with Letang.

I'd prefer he makes the third or second line better.

It's not ideal but its better than the press box. I also think due to his line mates it forces bennet to carry and hold on to the puck more. He is the go to guy on that line so it's not a terrible experience

Here's hoping that Juicey continues his good play. Hopefully we also have a better game than last time.

As others have said, Beau in the lineup at all is infinitely better than the press box. He'll get a few shifts with Geno or Jokinen too, no doubt. Not a ton, but he always gets mixed in occasionally.

Malkin possibly out tonight. Hopefully just a precaution, but it seems like Geno is made of glass... https://twitter.com/TIOPS_DePaoli/st...01066529325056

With the division locked up, this is the perfect time to experiment and allow the rookies to garner more experience. Guys like Bennett, Despres and Bortuzzo should be in the majority of the games for the rest of the season.

I think Despres and Bortuzzo should be alternating with Eaton and Engelland every other game. I also think Bennett should be given shifts in the top six here and there, instead of just a fixture with Glass and Adams.

Yeah, that's horribly embarrassing.

There seems to be a very real chance that Malkin will be held out of tonight's game because of severe sunburn. Warmups could be revealing.
