Not really a surprise. Pens are ahead by a mile.

Are Rangers down to 17 points to clinch then?

Technically now down to 16 because I'm including tie-breakers.

Bump. The Rangers are now in head of the Islanders in total possible points and Florida has been eliminated from playoff contention.

Rangers don't have any head-to-heads with teams in their immediate surroundings in the standings. Just NJD and Buffalo, who are both 6 points back, NYR with a game in hand on BUF.

Panthers are officially out? Looks like we're losing both those games

As much of a disgrace that game just was, we just need two points. If Winnipeg loses their next and last game, the Rangers are automatically in. If Winnipeg loses that game in OT, the Rangers just need one point.

You just watch us losing to Carolina, WPG winning and everything coming down to the Devils game after we sang "Season's Over". Certainly hope though that Montreal gets their **** together for that one game. They can lose the other 5 games they are playing this season.

A. The Rangers win one of their last two games
B. The Jets lose their last game in regulation
C. The Rangers lose both of their last two games in overtime/shootout
D. The Jets lose their last game in overtime/shootout and the Rangers either win 1 of their last 2 or lose 1 of their last 2 in overtime/shootout
E. The Rangers get the same amount of points in their last two games that Ottawa gets in their last 3 games regardless of what the Jets do

Sound about right? Am I missing anything? sportsodds site we are 93.4% to make it
