Stop pointing fingers at some indiduals on this team.

Just admit once and for all that this team is not built to compete against physical and big teams, and certainly not ready for long Playoffs.

Whoever said Reimer is awful is right... he doesn't seem to see half the shots he saves and his rebound control is god awful. There's no reason to not score more than 1 goal against these ********ers.

Yeah it's Moen , DD, Bouillon and Gionta's fault if our goalies couldn't stop a beach ball in the 1st.

Let's not criticize Price though..
I'll say it, Price is not a winner. Habs will lose in the 1st round because of him..The guy is not strong enough mentally.

But hey it's all about DD here. Every loss is because of him.
What a freaking joke.

Jesus Christ, wtf is your problem?
You serious? Price has been getting ripped all night. Deservedly so, for tonight at least.

Historically there is quite a rivalry with the Leafs. And it still exists. I have always hated Boston more personally, but I know a lot of Habs fans who hate the Leafs just as much if not more. The Habs and Leafs were for many years the two Canadian teams, and they have the largest fanbases in Canada still. And if the Leafs team continues to improve, people will take the rivalry more seriously.

It's not about where you finish in the standings, it's how you come into the playoffs. Not sure if that was a troll post or trying to be nice. Also, wouldn't be leading if Carolina hadn't won and probably won't be leading.

As for whining...I'm gonna let that one go. BTW, I hope Kadri is ok after getting shot in the face by boullion's stick on the top of his visor.

Also, defy you to find a post whining about the leafs and not our team, which was pretty unspectacular. When the Price fanboys (myself included), Gio defenders (used to be) and "we're tough enough" (took tonight off) people go against their natural instincts, you know it's been a bad game.

And yet he has outplayed the "elite" Price in several games. He also has a better save percentage than "elite" Price.

These arguments are silly.

The entire game is changed after you fall behind 0-3 early on. We were forced to open up to try to get back in the game and when it didn't work we gave up. The game would have been completely different without the softies. Butterfly effect.

This is what worries me. How we could not score. Forget the 3 goals Price crapped the bed on (yeah, the Bozak shot was stoppable), we could not score for **** even with extreme pinching.

BTW, how uninteresting is 24CH gonna be after tonight? Sour taste.

In reality it may not be a big loss considering they're still leading the NE.
But for me personally it's a horrible loss. After all the **** I talked at work, I don't know how I'll survive in the office on Monday.

**** you Carey Price. I'm going to have to call sick.

Someone surely will. Probably also blame him for the lack of defense in those 3 blow outs.

Losing Emelin is such a huge loss. He had some poor games but at least when he played the opposing forwards kept their heads up and were cautious coming over the blueline. Would have been nice to see him lay out Kadri tonight. Imo some of the faster teams are able to show the weaknesses of our D-corps.

I'm also going to continue to bash DD. Completely useless when the games become physical and a brutal contract extension. I'll get ripped to shreds and I know it won't happen since he just signed but what about using the other compliance buyout on him. At least Kaberle will fetch a mid rd pick at next years trade deadline.

Don't call in sick. Wear your Habs gear and be proud of your team that has been pretty darn good this year.

You might get some ribbing but people respect those that stick by their teams through thick and thin!

Good game guys...scoreline really meant nothing tonite. Leafs were lucky to eek out a 4 goal win.

And props to Sheed36, he's working it like a champ tonite.

And yes, this is very much our Stanley Cup.

Uhh no.

The rivalry has and will always be with the Bruins. The last time they met in the playoffs was 35 years ago.
I could care less if we lose to the Leafs.

It's easy to see that Price has all the tools to be elite. What's impossible to see is his state of mind. For a good part of this season, Price was able to enter a zone where he zeroed in on pucks through some magical internal radar. He swallowed sharp, fast one-timers with Jedi anticipation of where his body needed to be. This was Price in a focused state of mind.

Tonight was... the Dark Side of Price's brain. First goal slips through his legs and it looked like clouds started forming in his confidence. Whatever the cause and why he couldn't brush away the clouds and refocus is the only question he needs to answer.

I have always hated the Bruins more, myself. But you don't get to decide for all fans what the rivalry is. Boston has been a more relevant rival, its true. But if the Leafs become a more relevant competitor, they will become an equal rival. We don't hate the Leafs because we havent faced them for 35 years or had cause to fear them. If they can become a competitive team in the next few years, we will hate them. Their is enough animosity between a good enough number of our fans and theirs that given the right situation (our two teams being competitive) the rivalry will revive.

This is what happen when you try to prove that a 20yo is the team's saviour. Fans did ACTUALLY believed it. And you don't do that in Montreal. Not in freakin Montreal. Not in the "place that buries goalies". It made so much little sense....Somehow you feel that this will turn ugly unfreakinfortunately....And I knwo where the blame should be directed to...and it's NOT Price.

I haven't followed the GDT. I only read the PGT and it's basically all about DD once again. Getting annoying because frankly blaming him for the loss is just plain dumb and incredible bad faith.
