People really should find foreign sources for news and such, and then use translators to figure out what it means. The more you use the the more it helps, regardless of the language it is being translated from.

It should be pointed out if you were at the game that the "custom make your jersey" kiosk by the team store had a few FORSBERG 9 jerseys already on display...

Apparently Forsberg is landing in Nashville today and could be in the lineup on Monday.

@KWilsonPreds: There is a chance Filip Forsberg plays tomorrow vs. Detroit. He will arrive in Nashville tonight and wear No. 9 @PredsNHL

I hope Forsberg plays tomorrow on National TV. They can always scratch him in another game so he doesn't go over 5 games and burn a year off his entry level contract.

16 is taken? 22 is taken?

Predators are a fail organization. Literally passed up the chance to nickname him F16 or F22.

Also I hope that Pierre is doing the Hawks-Blues game earlier in the day on NBC and not Wings-Preds game if he does indeed play, would ruin the whole freaking thing. He probably would say that Shero is a genius for passing him up and then when he plays good during the game hes going to be really special and the Capitals let him go.

Doesn't burn a year of his ELC, but does prevent his ELC from sliding in 2013-2014 since he'll only be eligible to slide once.

All depends on how confident you are he'll be ready for 10+ NHL games in 2013-2014. If he is ready then nothing lost. If he isn't ready then for all practical purposes signing him for this season instead of starting next season burns a year of his ELC.

16 is taken and the F22 has a major issue with depriving the pilot of oxygen. Maybe we could give him 35 and give him F35 ... oh, wait.

He should be fairly comfortable soon with Hornqvist to show him the ropes. Quick transition though straight from Sweden over to Nashville.

I guess I'm the only one that hates this move???? What happened to our organizations mantra of putting players in a position where they can succeed? He landed last night from an intercontinental flight, has had no practice with the team, knows no one and hasn't been evaluated by our staff in person EVER.

Even with protected minutes this seems like a move the BJs would make and a sad bid to sell some tickets...

I don't think it'll hurt. There arn't any expectations, it doesn't take a year off his elc, just evaluating him for next year.

I don't think selling tickets has anything to do with it whatsoever.

But I will say that I am shocked they are throwing him in there like this- seems very rushed

This is the last place I expected a Final Fantasy reference haha.

His nickname is Flipper by the way; we already decided this.

Quite excited to see my username come to fruition even though this all seems very rushed. I believe he will do ok tonight, and I really hope everyone calms there expectations for a minute so he can have a chance. But very excited to wear FF9
