Yeah that was the correct call on Ryan. Glad TO saw it that way.

As far as Quick's gaffe... I don't really think it was a huge mistake. The puck took a weird roll on him and made his decision look bad.

Muzzin should be the one called out on that play for making such a dumb decision to shoot it into two Ducks players standing five feet in front of him.

I dont think he has dropped off. This is how he is, average player. You saw this already when he played with Drew but he put some points on the scoreboard and Drew bailed him out numerous times.

Everyone is talking about Quick with that SH goal, but it was him who took that lame ass shot attempt with two defenders in front of him and that was not the first time he did that. It was about time this happened.

I was wrong that I thought he would play better with 3rd line minutes but its actually getting worse. Ellerby as partner does not help either.

Playoff-Quick is back.

Muzzin to take the blame for the short hander. Quick was (with Sutter's voice) awesome.

Wouldve love to have seen him just lay out Getzlaf going for the puck.

I saw the game last night and went right to sleep. I really have never liked when goalies come out that far to try and stop a breakaway. It's so much of a risk and it doesn't seem to pay off a lot. But Quick was awesome the rest of the game. That one point when a player ran into him in the back of the net and then it led to a breakaway was crazy.

Good game, nice to beat the Ducks. One step closer to the playoffs.

I hope that's it for 11 pm games, I went to bed at 2, woke up at 3:30 when my cat threw up a hairball, at 6:30 when she wanted to go upstairs, shut the alarm off at 8 and woke up at 9:30 freaking out, thinking it was a weekday.

Surprised their is no mention of this, but with last nights win Jonathan Quick passed Kelly Hrudey for 2nd on the franchise wins list (146) and 25 back of Rogie Vachon with 171.

I expected Sutter to give up on this Muzzin Ellerby experiment a game or two ago. But I admire his determination. Get out there and figure it out. No more hand holding.

Boudreau pretty much shut them all up when he confirmed what we've been saying all along -- that their *advanced stats* would catch up to them and their shooting percentage was unsustainable.

This. That shot was pretty lame. I think Muzz needs a breather and get Martinez back in.

Yeah, gotta wonder if Martinez still isn't hurting from his shoulder injury?

Fun game to watch, glad the Kings managed to hold on for the win.

With the goal against, Quick actually made it to the puck first but he tried to play it weirdly. He should have just slid and taken the puck with his body instead of trying to flick it up the boards like it looked like he tried. Also 1 of them should have just taken down Getzlaf after Quick had missed and just taken the penalty

Getzlaf now has two goals in 14 games vs LA.

Muzzin-Ellerby is just Sutter trying to gauge who's going to play with Greene when he comes back. That pairing is too green for the playoffs though. At least we have a solid top 4, but I think Martinez should be close to his old form and ready...

No excuses, it was an even game and the kings took advantage of their opportunities. We had our chances and hit posts, but I thought it was a great game to watch. Quick played great. Really hope we get a playoff series.

We need to score more than one goal in a game or we should not expect to win. Refs missed some calls, but oh well. Of course the shot the Perry saved for you with his butt would have changed the game.

Is Bob also struggling with his hearing? When Doughty hit the post in the 1st period, Bob called it, "shot wide" instead of "it hit the post!".

Unwritten forum rule: be thankful for what you have with Bob Miller. No criticizing the greatest ever.

It's blasphemy to speak any ill of Vin Scully. Miller should be held in similar regard.
