I've never seen Blues take so many dead angle shots.

I'm pretty sure Hossa wasn't Berglund's responsibility on that faceoff play.

The Blues alignment for that faceoff was really curious. Why have Leopold back in the corner and Pietrangelo off the line? There should have been another guy up with Berglund, so one could attack Hossa off the draw and the other could cover the point/middle of the ice.

Poor on Faceoffs, No traffic in front of the net to screen the goalie you forgot to post.

You are much more confident than I about the offense getting it going. I just see nothing at all from them. Our scheme shouldn't be called "dump and chase" or "chip and chase" it should be called "shoot from blueline and pray"

Well, we have to win Tuesday and take care of the bad opponents we have coming up. We can't face Chicago or Anaheim in the first round.

Amazing first period, garbage aside from that.

What's our PP like recently, 2 for our last 60?

They have one of the biggest bandwagons in the NHL. When they're playing well, they travel very well. When they suck, they disappear.

Here's my analysis: the better team won. There's no way the Blues are beating the Hawks in the postseason. I don't even want to hear it. They're also not beating LA.

Yes, because other teams can't collapse into their goal like the hawks did all game and still have the speed to have an effective transtion game. It is hard to score on the Hawks. Streaks happen for all facets and something will give soon. We will not miss the playoffs, nor were we ever going to.

I was referring to our scoring chance before the goal.

Petro screened the heck out of Elliot on the goal.

Wow. You really need to learn more about hockey before you post garbage like this. The Perron is selfish garbage is stupid and baseless. He made several plays to try and set up teammates and made several plays in pursuit of the puck. He needs to actually start scoring and producing points again, but the effort was there as was him at least generating chances.

I am sick of getting these new poster, Asylum rejects over here.

So yay for a loss... Maybe we can delay seeing either team by a round.

Yeah, Chicago's the better team, end of story. President's Trophy, Jennings Trophy, +49 differential. Damn good hockey team from top to bottom. I'm still not completely sold on their goaltending, I think the team in front is doing a very good job of preventing both Emery and Crawford from being exposed.

You'll hear about it from me. Their goalies and defense could regress to last season's form. With LA, they could continue to get inconsistent goaltending, and the Blues could finally play their game against them. You play the game for a reason and anything can happen.

I've now seen the Blues play the Kings and Hawks live in the last two weeks. Will be an early exit for our beloved Blues.

Yes, 5 red sweaters in front of Crawford consistently. They get a lead, and it's collapse and ride out the storm.

You don't say I'll be happy with a playoff appearance.
