Kids got some potential, gotta love that we still have Osuna and Sanchez in our system, two high potential prospects.

Just want to correct you because you misspelled it twice already. As for his range, he'll also need to improve his reaction time at 3B if he wants to be a serviceable fielder there at the hot corner. I'd personally rather have Lawrie at 3B because he has elite defense there and his bat will develop well for the position. When Bautista can't field right anymore, move him to 1st. Unfortunately you sacrifice his arm, but you'll see a just as good/even better one in Gose or Sierra.

This is the lineup I'd be running out

LF - Melky
CF - Rasmus
RF - Gose
3rd - Bautista
SS - Izturis
2B - Lawrie
1B - Edwin
DH - Lind
C - JPA

I still disagree with you on Rasmus over Gose in center but you are right about getting Gose in the lineup.
If Joey Batts is getting moved to the infield that Gose needs to be called up.

If Kawasaki can provide solid defense at SS over the next few games, I see no reason why we wouldnt keep him there when Lawrie gets called up.

Missed the game - was Casey spent today? How come he wasn't in there for the 9th?

Santos ok?

What's up with Darren? Can't believe there was so much fuss about him retiring if he couldn't play for the Rangers.

It's really just his tool box that needs work.
Very interesting idea to use Sierra. Hadn't thought of that.

So they are looking at moving Lawrie to 2B potentially
As much as I don't like the idea simply because he's been VERY good at 3B...if it gets the best players into the lineup, you consider it

at the very least we wouldn't have to worry about him being ****ed by Rivera's brain cramps as the 3rd base coach.

love how Butter just straightens up like an immoveable object. Doesn't even turn to look at Sierra as he blows by his stop sign.

Today our hitters were very unlucky. They easily could have destroyed Santana.

They're doing a story on Dickey on 60 minutes tonight. Suppose to start at 7 but it's been delayed because of golf.

i'm really liking the japanese version of Jmac. he can handle the bat, gets on base, can steal a bag and not to mention is good in the outfield. i'd rather start him over izturis @ SS.

i also understand why lawrie is being given a chance at 2B instead of @ SS. if we look back to last season he was practically the 2B in shift situations.

would be very interesting if lawrie becomes good @ 2B, it could possibly solve our problems of a future 2B. if given a choice i would gladly have lawrie start at 2B over 3B.

Kawasaki also seems to have a nice routine with the outfielders after an out .

Anthony Gose is waiting his turn.
The 22-year-old impressed in spring training but Anthopoulos wants him to get his reps in Triple-A. For now.
“But down the road, sure,” he said. “I mean it definitely opens up a spot. We haven't talked about Anthony, he's just gotten started down there and they've been rained out the last four or five games so he hasn't entered into the conversation at that point. Down the road, if we go this route, and a month from now or two months from now, if Anthony's playing great and he deserves to be up here, sure it could open up a spot for him.”

The Blue Jays are considering the possibility of an infield that includes Lawrie at second and Jose Bautista at third.

“It's something that we want to take a look at but again, it's not something we're ready to commit to,” said general manager Alex Anthopoulos. “It's just more of a chance to do it and this is probably as good a time as any. But again, if we don't feel good about it than it's something we're not necessarily going to go forward with. So we'll just take the next few games to take a look.”

I really hope they get above .500 on this home stand. 5-2 home stand = 10-9 on the season. Get it done!
