One of them was 1.1, I saw when I was looking. Haven't been a lot of Wild games on latety when I was looking, had a bunch of dates missed because of the Bucks and Crew ST.

No problem, everyone.

I study telecom and now work in advertising. After wanting to be in radio like every other kid in the world, I realized I liked the business end of media better. So that basically explains my interest in it

IU,

I was thinking for a second that you made a big mistake coming up with all these ratings on the spot. Now everyone is asking you all the time. You now have 2 jobs. Your work, and answering everyone here, but we really do appreciate you taking the time.

It's obvious you are now the man here? Have you noticed there's no more posters posting links as much as before of previous games ratings? that's because you come up with them right away in the morning. before there was ppl like CanadaIsHockey, Lady Moderator and others posting links. it's rare now cause you come up with them quickly. You are truly the MVP here at this site. You are carrying this site now. You are the bobby orr of this site.

Keep up the good work and P.S.. if you can come up with the full NY and BOS ratings tomorrow, you'd make me so happy.. NYY were rained out, NYM, NYR.. I think NYR win easily here...and Celts, Sox, and Bruins or whatever you can get. And i promise i won't make a habit of bothering you all the time... thanks again, MVP..

IU, the fans are chanting.......MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP!

I just heard this on the radio, IU or someone else can confirm if they want, but I know it's true.

Last night the Red Sox squeaked away with the local ratings win among the C's, B's and Sox last night. The Sox drew a 6.7 on NESN, the Bruins drew a 5.9 on NBCSN, and the Celtics combined ESPN and CSN rating was a dismal 1.8 .

if those are really the #'s, then that is amazing. really not what i'd expected at all. Do you mean to tell me the sox barely beat the bruins?? And most shocking is how the B's just smoke the C's now in beantown. C's have dominated the bruins in that city for the last 30+ yrs and now it's not even close. wow.

Here is what i expected to see in boston last night...

Hawks vs Blues on NBC
Bulls vs Heat on ABC
Final round of the Masters on CBS
Cubs vs Giants on WGN
And Sox vs Indians on CSN

Should be interesting to see what the ratings are in Chicago.

This will be one of the few times this year the Bulls will beat the Hawks. Opponent everyone hates and wants to watch, plus I believe the Bulls boost from being on free TV is greater than the Hawks is.

Rangers/Islanders last night in NY:
1.6/3 on MSG
0.6/1 on MSG+

The Bulls won't beat the Hawks until the day DRose steps back onto the court.

SABRES/BRUINS GAME DRAWS NBCSN'S 4TH HIGHEST EVER NHL CROWD

http://www.sbnation.com/2013/4/18/42...-large-numbers

Quote:
The emotional game between the Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins drew 847,000 viewers to NBC Sports Network, marking their fourth-most watched NHL regular season game, dating back to 2005 (NBCSN records include telecasts from 2005-06 on OLN and 2006-2011 on VERSUS). The game peaked with 1.1 million viewers at 10 p.m. ET, when the Sabres took a 3-2 win over the Bruins in a shootout. NBCSN was a top 10 cable network for the evening among Men 18-49 and Men 25-54, key NHL demographics.
Quote:
In Boston, the game received a 7.9 rating, the third-highest rated Bruins regular season game ever on the network, and highest to not involve a game against the Montreal Canadiens. The game scored a 9.0 in the smaller, but similarly hockey-mad Buffalo. NBC Sports Network was the number one network in both markets during the game.
Not surprisingly the Bruins beat the Red Sox and Celtics on TV last night. You can tell by the last line. "NBC Sports Network was the number one network in both markets during the game."

To me, this is simply amazing how the bruins came out of the dead. At one time about 5 yrs ago, Sox were getting double digits every night and B's were getting 1.5's.. now B's are getting 8's and 9's,and beating the 1st place Sox, one of the best records in baseball?? It's not like they are 3-13..wow. I can't explain this. And B's lost in the 1st round last yr too.. it's not like they just won the cup last yr.

I still don't know how the bruins got this popular overnight.. but it's great to see.
