Trout and Hamilton both homered today, pitching was surprisingly solid, big win!

Yep. First back to back wins, first series win.

CJ is so sketchy. He was a razor's edge from losing it. Probably would have if he wasn't playing the Astros.

I was about to lose it when CJ has the bases loaded in the first or second inning. LoL

BTW, I still want Trout to be leading off. Batting him second seems stupid. Imagine if Trout is on first, then he can attempt to steal second base. Also, the second batter is protected by Pujols and Hamilton. They have to pitch to the second batter. Trout will get home one way or another. Heck, you can bunt Trout to third and Pujols will be up. A sac fly will equal a run. I don't comprehend what worked marvelously last year has to change this year. Because this will negate his speed to want to steal bases if Pujols is up or Hamilton. No point in running and forcing the opposing pitcher to think about Trout.

Yeah, Trout is heating up now, and is getting on base more and more. He scored 3 of the 4 runs yesterday. That's the definition of a lead-off man.

The logic if Trout batting second is if he is on first with Albert up, Albert will get more fast balls because the pitcher is worried about the steal. It also gets Trout up with possibly a runner on base. No sure I subscribe to this theory.
