Bobrovsky is 2nd in SV% with 4th most SO's after 32 appearances.

He was never drafted and had less than 100 career NHL games prior the season.

Bobrovsky. I didn't pick Kadri because I expected him to be good sooner or later. Bobrovsky looked less than mediocre and just lost when he was on the ice.

Nazem Kadri, a very talented player but cheap and ugly like Marchand.

Kadri Voracek Bob and Subban are all good options.

I voted Voracek, but if I had my time back I would have voted Bob.

If the Jackets make playoffs, Bob deserves a Hart nomination.

Has to be Kadri. I remember watching him even last year where the guy just didn't look like a very good player. He clearly had great hands, but not much else. He's done a complete 180 IMO.

Most unexpected would be Derek Stepan. 2nd round pick with potential to be a good #2 center, outperforming Richards to become the team's #1 center with an excellent two-way game.

All the other candidates were high first round picks with all the promise in the world. edit: except Bobrovsky, except young goalies have the difficulty of "being solved" once they become established. edit: I didn't pay close enough attention to the list, screw it.

PS: From the games I've watched, Stepan is playing better than Kadri. Kadri has been very protected.

If Bobrovsky was on Leafs and Kadri on CBJ, poll results would be reversed.

Nothing against NK, he has been great... but Bob is most likely winning a Vezina after Flyers basically threw him away. Don't think Kadri is taking any hardware home, so Bobrovsky has to go ahead, literally out of nowhere.

If Jiri Tlusty were on this list, he would get it. He leads all of these players in goals scored.

Since the OP did not include him, I'm going with Bob. He has been a top tier goaltender this year, and if the Jackets make the playoffs, a Hart candidate.

Kadri went from being a complete bust to basically being PPG all year. It is definitely Kadri as #1 and Bob in #2.

Both Kadri and Bob could deserve this but I give it to Kadri. He's been way more battle tested in real life by the media and arm-chair fans that were calling him a bust. It's convenient for people to say leaf fans were the one calling him the bust when it was a 95% ratio of non-leaf fans:5% leaf fans that were labelling him that. I'd venture to say it was a 99:1 ratio on hfboards.

Guy's a fighter, it shouldn't matter if you hate the leafs or not, Kadri's demanded respect this year.

Kadri gets the edge if the Leafs make the playoffs. If both teams make the playoffs, Bob is slightly more deserving.
