I don't mind some of the odd-seeming decisions recently. If Therrien wants to play some key players a bit less, play the 4th line more and try some different combinations after clinching the playoff spot, that's fine by me. I expect it to be more of a 3 line, top heavy rotation in the playoffs.

I've only had two problems with MT:
1) Stubbornness about lineups, especially the PP
I wish he would shake things up before lines get stale
2)Refusal to use timeouts after bad starts
Every big loss we've had could have been avoided if he would use them in a more timely fashion (The 5-1 loss should have had MT call a timeout after the 2nd goal)

Other than that his attitude and approach has been excellent

If that is his reasoning, it is a fool's game that he is playing.

It is far better to play the Islanders or Rangers in the first round than it is to play the Leafs.

And throw out the regular season statistics as they do not matter. I am looking strictly at the size disadvantage that we have versus the Leafs.

I was shocked at how small most of the Habs looked compared to the Leafs when I was at the game. Huge difference.

**** you Michel Therrien for what you are doing to Ryder and in turn, screwing up the entire team dynamics and chemistry just so you can have our superstar 6 goal scoring Rene Bourque playing and floating and watching the game on the 1st line.

Who needs Michael Ryder and his goals and points anyway? Carbo didnt. Why should you?

While I agree that Ryder played very well with Plekanec, it's not like playing on our second best line is a punishment. He's still getting his powerplay minutes.

I liked Therrien at the beginning of the year, but he's turned into Mr. Grumpy again.

I hope that you do not really believe what you just posted.

Would Pittsburgh demote Crosby to a lower line?

Ryder did nothing to deserve a demotion and sorry to burst your bubble, but the Eller line is behind DD's line in scoring.

Real life NHL hockey is not Playstation NHL13 where you can simply move players around without much consequence. There is no emotion or chemistry in NHL13. There is in the NHL.

To me, Therrien is at the lowest he's been all season right now.

His fall started after he called out Subban to the media. Mistake.

Not the best time of year for him to begin losing his ****.

It's in the player's hands now... and Gerard Gallant.

Slowly though, he's turning into that same Michel Therrien who gave that infamous "soff" speech.

I thought he had turned a new leaf, but it's looking like I'm mistaken.

We'll see what happens, but right now, I'm preferring Gerard Gallant's attitude.

Therrien.

Running a clinic on how to turn a very good team into a team that looks like a last place team.

With the lines tonight, I am sure that he took the top 9 forwards, put their names in a hat and then pulled the names out to set his lineup.

No chemistry again. Passes to nowhere. What was once a puck possession team is now a Jacques Martin team.

Michel. Its not that difficult. Go back 3 weeks, pull up NHL.com and look at the lines you had back then. Use them. We were effective on offense 3 weeks ago.

Plek/Patches/Gio line looks good, been a while since Patches look that good actually, the EGG line is doing well with the limited icetime they have, and even the Ryder/Bourque/DD line looked decent...

but yeah, they should have looked great right off bat with the line changes despite the funk we're in...

****ing idiot Michel Therrien.

We have Michael Ryder, our leading goal scorer, sitting on the bench during the power play and still not playing on the Pleks line where those two were working well together and scoring goals.

Am I wrong in thinking this way?

Bourque pretty much sucks...

Ryder CAN score.

MT is so-so.

2nd period PP.

Bourque on the 2nd wave.

Ryder still on the bench.

How many teams in the NHL have their highest scoring forward on the bench during the PP?

Easy answer...........NONE.

What a complete and total meltdown by a head coach at the end of a season. Guy Carbonneau-esque.

He was optimistic cause we were winning!

I would hate, detest, be disgusted by someone who would be all upbeat after losses and bad games.

Secondly, at the beginning there was no expectations. Now there are.

See if you can prop up Therrien on this one.

The leading goal scorer on the team just played a shift on the 4th line.

Think back if you can and try to remember when a coach put his leading scorer on the 4th line.........in a game where the team is losing 4-0.

Therrien has lost his ****ing mind.
