I'm not a fan of golf, but what about Guy Lafleur and Mario Lemieux smoking ?

PS MLS referies suck. MDV's goal was good.

Wasn't Zubov a notorious smoker?

Anyway, I'm not liking how the midfield works... it worked better last year TBH. Can't say I'm a fan of the 4-1-4-1. Bring back the 4-2-3-1 pls.

I think a DP in the midfield would make us a better team.

For a coach who says he is an offensive guy he sure likes to be pressured all game.. that as to change eventually its gonna brake loose. Duraing the preseason for a few moments he went back t last year formation and we did great... but i guess as a new coach who wants his own identity he refused to stick to it.

I have not criticized Felipe to this point but he has not been the same. The midfield is really lacking something.

Impact did not look good today. With the players they have they should have been able to win easily today. They look really poor in the attacking third of the field. If there is not a goal on a counter attack there will not be a goal.

Need better players in the midfield.

The guys next to me after the MDV ''offside'' goal: ''******** Di Vaio, toujours hors jeu''

Oh and Pine, I agree with you. The ''Impact Montreal Ohe'' chant is aweomse. They did it with the 127 section, but I was pleasantly surprised when they did it with the other side of the pitch and they responded.

Today's game was my least favorite experience at Saputo Stadium. I still had fun but not as much as other games. 1st there were 10 to 12k max, the 1st half was really boring, I was freezing despite a relatively good temperature and the ultras were not at their best.

Concerning the game, I've been saying it since the 2nd game, we don't have the midfield to play a 4-1-4-1 formation. Please scrap that for last year's 4-2-3-1. We played it in the last 20 minutes of the game and this is where we looked the most dangerous.

On an individual level:

Ouimette had his best game so far but he still looked very shaky, my heart literally stopped beating every time the ball approached him, at least he's getting ton of experience playing with Nesta and Ferrari.

Camara had his worse game of the season.

Felipe looked good at times, but terrible in many occasions. I continue to think we should play 4-2-3-1 to get the best out of Felipe. It's worrying though because he's looking more and more unidimensional.

Perkins and Di Vaio were the best.

Mapp played smart but lacked finishing.

Tissot showed good stuff in the limited time he got.

I disagree that Romero was invisible, he was visible, but visibly bad! He had a good start to the season but last 2 games he's been bad.

Concerning Di Vaio's disallowed goal, I was in section 127 and I saw the play very well, just in front of me, he was clearly on side from my angle.

Hoping Joey and NDS are seeing what we're all seeing and get us a DP midfielder.

I think that now we will finally see what this team is made of.

They finally will be able to PLAY and PRACTICE on NATURAL grass. They looked horrible in possession today. Nobody seemed to be able to control the ball, send nice accurate passes, or receive them without a bad first touch.

Full practices at CCR will do this team a lot of good IMO.

Ouimette looked good from the stadium. Can't see how bad of a performance he had. Hes 20 years old. The more he plays, the better it is for him.

Perkins was solid, Agree with you & Mapp had his best game as well.

Would be up for a midfielder to play at either Felipe or Arnauds spot. Therefor the team will be able to rotate in between Felipe, Arnaud & Him. Higuain is absolutely class for Colombus.

The fact that we have wingers who are either better coming off the bench (Nyassi, Romero) or cant play more than 60 mins (Mapp, Pisanu) is driving me crazy.

‘’Pour être honnête je n’ai pas fait un bon match. C’est sans doute pour ça que Mauro m’a remplacé, même si on ne s’est pas encore parlé. Il faut être honnête : quand tu joues mal tu joues mal. Mais l’équipe n’a pas bien joué en général. On aurait dû gagner… Mais bon, le point nous aide quand même.’’ -Andrés Romero

We switched to a 4-4-2 towards the end, not a 4-2-3-1.

LA Galaxy have narrowed DP search to one target; announcement could come in early May
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/articl...nt-could-come-

New Designated Player in talks with LA Galaxy? Does Frank Lampard fit the bill?

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/kick-of...0811--mls.html

LAMPARD POSTPONES WEDDING, MOVE TO LA IMMINENT?

So is it just a coincidence that Frank Lampard has reportedly postponed his wedding this summer? He was set to get married on June 12, but now it seems those plans are on hold, as the Daily Star reports that LA Galaxy have offered the Chelsea midfielder a two-year contract with improved terms of $6 million a year.

LAMPARD, KAKÁ, ARSHAVIN … WHO IS IT?

But with Bruce Arena’s comments pretty open ended, it may not be Lampard heading to LA in May. Kaká’s name is still being thrown around and Andrei Arshavin has been linked with a move to MLS recently, as his contract at Arsenal runs out in May. But is seems as though Arshavin prefers to stay in Europe. “I'd consider if there is an offer from another Premier League club. I'm open from Germany or Spain, if there was an offer there or Russia," the Russian said.

LA Galaxy could sign Gonzalez as Designated Player
http://www.tribalfootball.com/articl...1#.UWy2gVdmE4k

The former Galaxy president posted on Twitter that he had spoken to current incumbent Chris Klein about the possibility of 24-year old centre-back Gonzalez joining Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan as DP’s

If its the case wouldn't be surprise if MLS change some rules to help them keep Gonzalez and bring another big name.

Weird to say, but I can't wait to see Rivas get back. Hes injured so often that people tend to forget him, especially with Matteo and Alessandro. I know it isn't a smart idea to count on this, but this guy is a monster in the air; one of our biggest weaknesses so far this year. He brings a complete new dimension to our D. Power, Strength and Speed.
