Honestly, no need to have any of them join. This Barons club has really came together since the lockout ended and have played great, so I'd rather ride the horses that got you there.

However, should OKC go deep in the playoffs, I wouldn't bet against a possible Eberle and Hall sighting in OKC, but they won't be playing. Eberle and Hall enjoyed their time in OKC it seemed, especially Eberle who said that it felt really weird leaving, and Patrick Laforge told OKC's beat writer on his last trip down that Hall and Eberle are thinking of making another visit back sometime in the summer. Who knows if that is true or not, but if it is accurate I could see them coming back and supporting the guys during that visit. They were great teammates here and seemed to try and help out the younger guys a lot. Would say a lot about two of your NHL stars coming down to show their support to those on the farm.

Apparently, Tyler Tofolli has been named the AHL rookie of the year. He's tied with Schultz for points at 48 despite playing 19 more games. Is there an anti-NHL lockout player bias at play there?

Yeah I just noticed this today. I think it's pretty tough to give an award to a player that only played 34 games.

I don't think Pajaarvi should play in the playoffs. Let the players who have made it to this point continue their hard work. They're also the ones that are in greater need of development.

I could see MPS, Hall, Eberle and Schultz all play in the WC if they wanted to.

Nelson really has these guys working hard and firing on all cylinders. They don't need any of the fragile "NHLers" on their team.

I'd be willing to say if OKC played the Oilers, chances are they win. Why? Hustle, work ethic and physicality.

Definitely. The Flames iced an AHL team last night and won.

Another win for the Barons. 4-0 over the Bulldogs. Inching closer to solidifying a playoff spot.

Healthy scratch. Along with Teubert. Not disciplining poor play, OKC just has the luxury of rotating D frequently and getting guys some extra rest.

I think I'll echo the feeling of the Oklahoma fans and say the big 4 should stay away. Right now this team is getting by with a blue collar approach (same as last year), the moment they get a talent injection they'll tail off as the team loses its identity (think Nashville last year and the Radulov situation).

In many aspects that is the biggest issue for the Oilers: Who are they?
Are they a team that will grind you out? Not with their lack of size, and makeup of the top 6.
Are they a team that will skate circles around you? Not with the lack of transition ability of the backend.
Are they a team that will outclass you with skill? Not until the top 6 matures, the bottom six actually gets talent, and the defence can actually consistently make a pass.

Is Marincin playing very sheltered minutes behind Plante, Teubert and veteran AHL guys? Or is he really OKC best d-man at this point?

I could see Schultz going down to play. Hall-Nuge-Ebs will play for CAN, Paajarvi for SWE.

So with Nelson doing better without the NHLers. Does that tell us that he isn't a NHL coach who can't motivate the young NHLers to play a style that he wants to play? Does that also tell us we are screwed because our kids refuse to change their ways from Junior of playing a game surrounded around skill?

Not necessarily, Nelson has a system that has proven to work. It requires the players to buy in to the system. I think that is the real problem with the NHL team they do not seem to play a consistent system and you can not win without that.
