Dortmund was offside and it was clear as day. Conversely so was Malaga on their second goal.

Today UEFA passed new punishments in regards to racial abuse by players and fans. Players and coaches face 10 match bans while the offending clubs can be forced to play games behind closed doors if their fans abuse players or each other.

When will soccer introduce replays for goals? They really would get rid of all of these offsides goals.

Yes the finish to the Dortmund game was incredible. I can't imagine how the Yellow Wall reacted to that.

No, you got goal line technology. Be happy. The human element is part of the game and it's what makes the game exciting and unpredictable. I (and the vast majority of footy fans) don't want computers and cameras making every decision.

Goal line tech should be sufficient. We don't have reviews for offsides in hockey, either.

Soccer doesn't need to have goals taken away.

Those two offsides really weren't that hard to spot. The question is why a Scottish referee who, by all respect, usually works in a 3rd tier league has to be used in a CL quarter final? But then again Mr. Stark from Germany ain't any better. But that's another story why they choose him of all German referees as a FIFA ref.

Was hoping for BVB vs Munich & Real vs Barca in the semis. At least you're guaranteed two rivalry games.

Unfortunately for you, it seems they are trending that way. After reading responses and thinking about it, I agree that goal line technology is enough. As you said, they now have goal line technology which is a very good idea IMO.

Wigan in the final. Was hoping for Milwall but at least we have 1 underdog.

Aguero continues to score big goals. The goal against United in the derby last monday and today the goal which turned out to be the game winner

Is anyone watching the Portland game now? The crowd sounds like a UEFA crowd.

Yes, no problem. RT @The_Longhammer Could LA Galaxy stay above relegation in a full season in EPL? #AskAlexi

Everyone healthy, Donovan playing, absolutely they could and would. They wouldn't finish top 10 though. Absolutely would take them generally against teams like Sunderland, Stoke, and Wigan.

Give it a few more years though and it will become plainly obvious. The main reason being that the MLS salary cap will continue to rise which will give these teams better depth. A secondary reason will be guys like Kamara going over to the EPL and doing a good job for their teams. Even considering Kamara wasn't among the best players here.

Unfortunately many of the US Soccer village idiot fans will continue to disrespect MLS until the National team does some serious damage in a World Cup.
