That is a reason why any sane fan would not want to face Bruins in the 1st round (or rather, as late as possible).
so, what you're saying is, you're scared of the B's, that's ok... kinda odd though considering how tough you guys like to act on your board

No Leafs fan is begging to face Habs. But one is entitled to have a preference.

I am on Bruins board, talking about Bruins; and explained why any fan who has a dream of his team winning the cup would want to avoid Bruins as much as possible.

I am not scared of my team facing Bruins in the playoffs, it is the fact that you are physically banged up for the next series that I have trouble with (and if my team were to beat Bruins, it would take no less than 7 games). A team's toughness shows in it's plays. And am glad my team can show that.

I'm really interested to see if Nashville beats Detroit. Detroit not making this year would be the first time they miss the playoffs in my life time.

You know we've entered the Twilight Zone when I show up on this board for a quiet, civilized chat...

Just wanted to share a virtual consolation drink over both our teams' frustrating losses last night. Can't speak for Bruins fans' own expectations, but I've been expecting a mini-slump for the Habs since March. Looks like it's here, as it is for you guys too. Funny thing is it's not necessarily a bad thing for either of us. Stay where you are in 4th and you face the Leafs and avoid a possible Rangers matchup. Stay where we are in 2nd and possibly face Rangers and avoid the Leafs. Everyone's happy.

Just wanted to note that I've come to respect you as one of the genuinely objective and reasonable guys on the Leafs board. Congrats on the win last night and good luck.

Extremely proud of this division ..... Bruins paved the way, but it didn't take the Habs, Leafs or Sens long to narrow the gap... I can't even imagine where the Sens would be healthy....

I've always found that the team I wanted to play was always the team that did the Bruins in...

Lucic broke his nose during the Orr fight, or rather Orr broke his nose. Nothing wrong with stopping the fight when your nose is broken. I don't understand why people would dump on him for that.

If a player gets injured in a fight, it has to stop. Period. Lucic did the right thing here and as much as I love Cherry he happened to be wrong on this occasion.

pretty much any Habs fan would tell you "bring it on" if we were to face the B's in the P.O.
(although both faced each other so many times it's becoming almost boring to me right now / think I'd rather face Columbus or something)

Sure they're bigger than Habs, they are now, they always been, and probably always will be... but we'll be more than happy to face them in any round if we have to. Sure the (winning) Habs players would be hurt, bruised and whatnot, but hey! if you're not ready for it might as well forfeit.

Like I said it's OK to be scared of the B's, just don't pretend you arent

Ryan White is looking at 5+ IMO for the elbow he laid tonight on Huskins. Ridiculous hit.

Blow Habs blow.

Scabs on their 5th power play and there's still 8 minutes left in the second period. Refs trying to get the Scabs back in it.

And they were outshot 31-13. Strange stats.

Paciafraidie refuses to fight Rosehill. Rosehill gets 4 min roughing & a 10 misconduct. Paciafraidie gets 2 min roughing.

Guess where the game is being played?

Hartnell gets the hat trick. 7-3 Flyers. Bruins need to win their next game.

Flyers are 8-2 in the last 10 against the Scabs. Would love to see these teams meet in the playoffs.

Habs have opened the door for the Bruins. Bruins need to take advantage on Wednesday.

Mostly in the Leafs zone which is probably why they registered so many hits

Apparently, NJ has outshot their opponents 22 out of their last 24 games or something like that, and in their recent losing streak, they've outshot their opponent every game.

Their team works hard, but with no Kovy they lack any real scoring threat or depth to make up for it.
