I haven't seen any of those three. Are they good?

Haven't heard of the first two. I've seen a lot of talk about Mulholland Drive on the Entertainment board. Seemed to be mixed opinions.

The first two are a lot better than Mulholland Drive but it's still worth a rental. The first two are among my all time favorite movies ever made, just fantastic movies and fit the description of what you are looking for. You have got to see those two ASAP. I am jealous of you that you get to experience those two for the first time, have fun!

Yes, I get to shell out $130 to go to prom in a little bit.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but the girl I'm taking has told me ten times how excited she is. I wish I could match her excitement. I'm going just to be able say I went once to be perfectly honest. I'm ready for it to be over already.

Prom is dumb but if your date is really excited you need to put on a happy face for her. It clearly means a lot to her.

Absolutely, and I will.

She is a really nice girl, but I would never hear the end of it from my buddies if I didn't go go prom my senior year. I didn't go last year, so it would make it even worse for me.

I also will not tell the 'rents that she is going to my college, as well, or they'll never shut up about how they think this girl has dating potential. This is just a really nice girl I've know for a little that is just my date for a few hours.

I bet I'll be more excited one I'm there. It's all the BS like groups (which I have figured out), people being uncomfortable with person X and Y in the group, etc. that ruins it since I couldn't care less about drama in freaking high school. It doesn't matter.

I'm going to wait until I settle down at college to even consider dating.

It's pointless now, but it feels good that someone is genuinely excited to go to prom with me. I'm lucky to have that.

Who knows, maybe you'll have a good time with this girl and want to see her again. At least you'll have plenty to talk about with going to the same college.

You'll have to search through a giant pile of tramps first to get anywhere with a relationship on this campus.

Don't they have some things in the summer at your college to start to meet people?

Yeah, I've got some admission thing in June.

I'm ready for college. I know the school, the major, where I am staying who my roommate is, and just need to figure out my schedule. I already have two of my best friends going (one is there and another is going with me). I just need to figure out who I will be spending time with and what my schedule is going to be (that'll be done in June).

That's what I hear. My buddy there searched and wound up getting back together from a girl back home. Stupid decision by him since she acts bipolar. What a stunod.

Well, that's something to look forward to. If this is what you are ready for, I'd try to get up there a few other times too, maybe go and hang out with your buddy, check out some parties, hang out around campus. I think if you are ready for new friends, a head start is really important. Not to mention, better familiarizing yourself with the area and the scene down there.

I have visited a few times already and hung out at the complex my buddy is at, which is also the same place I'll be staying for at least my freshman year.

No, but he happens to stay where I will next year, so I already am familiar with living conditions.

That has nothing to do with your campus and everything to do with 20ish females.

Actually a lot of people here have girlfriends. But, I'd say that's a very loose term

Yeah, I mean, if you are set on dating as opposed to partying and banging a bunch of chics...I don't know man, you've got an uphill climb as it is and it has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that most people don't want to date and be in a relationship at that age. You have a date with this girl now and a summer ahead of you. What you don't want is to find things weren't what you thought they were going to be while this girl is dating some other guy. At the same time, I understand you have your own ideas of how things are going to be and you want to let it play out for yourself instead of listening to some losers on the internet. Remember what people are telling you though, that's all.
