Hopefully he isn't joking but at first I did think what if this has done by N. Korea due to what they have been doing recently, can't completely rule it out even though it doesn't seem likely

Unless there is video around the area, seems like it were bombs in trash cans, meaning the terrorists are so ****ing cowardly, they attacked from the shadows. GOD I hope they find those ****s

Would kind of make sense. You see people far from the explosion go down in injury and I was wondering what kind of shrapnel would be at the location.

It's also a common part of IEDs.

Watching breaking coverage, they're interviewing someone who was participating and was close to the explosion. While on the phone a few seconds ago he said he heard an other explosion....

ugh, I can't describe it, but that made me ugh. It's like filling buckshot with cut-up nails in order to cause maximum damage.

God Bless you Boston...

I know this isn't the right forum, but wanted the most amount of posters to read this.

The nation's hearts are with you today after the Marathon Bombings.

I personally went through 9/11 while living in lower Manhattan, Hurricane Sandy here in CT though most of my family still lives in Staten Island and Brooklyn and of course the Newtown Massacre which is about 20 minutes up the road from me. Amazing how cruel the world can be.

Too earlier to know anything yet, but the country and I am sure most of the civilized world will be thinking of you all now.

Stay strong.

Seriously. Speculating about countries really doesn't make a lick of sense.

Holy ****, so if it was a bomb packed full of shrapnel we're likely going to be hearing of many more injuries/fatalities

Thoughts and prayers going out to everyone who was there running and viewing. I know some people that were there, hopefully they are all okay.

Game tonight too. Sens vs. Bruins. If the report of undetonated bombs around the city are true, the game should be cancelled.
