I wish you could import your previous years' RTTS settings into each successive game. Even if you can't just pick up where you left off, it'd be nice to not have to go through the player creation process every single time and struggle to come up with a similar player as last time if that's what you want. At least copy physical appearance and things like batting/pitching motions. I like to keep the same pitching style every year, but it's hard to stay consistent if they reshuffle the generic stances every year to incorporate people who have retired (or for example, I use Chipper Jones' batting stance, but with him retired, I presume he's one of the generics, I just don't know which one.)

in the game, to to "vaults" then "roster vault". provided you've activated the online pass, you should end up at a page to select rosters. the easiest thing is to sort by either # of downloads or rating. OSFM's roster should be at or near the top.

Anyone playing Diamond Dynasty?

Also, OFSM rosters for Pittburgh are already pissing me off. Dickerson with a C? Taillon's velocity at 72?!

Kid throws 100 MPH 2-seam and 4-seam FB right out of HS and they have him maxed out at 93 MPH fastballs. Get. OUT. I had to drop his break on his curve, but raised up his velocity on his FB massively.

You're using the first edit. They don't worry as much about stats as getting solid faces and getting everything done.

Someone will re-rate the entire league over the coming months, but that's too long of a wait for me.

Do they put out a uniform update? They don't have Mets' new jerseys/hats in the game.

Started my RTTS, got drafted to Philly.

I think in like in 10 games i'm hitting .244 with an HR and 3 RBI, on all-star difficulty (never have been a great hitter, better pitcher)

Must be doing something right, manager moved me out of the 8 hole up to 6th in the order

Downloaded the OSFM roster file (thanks Hawkeye) and started my franchise last night. Only played opening day though; 5-3 win with the Red Sox. Always nice beating the Yankees!!

I made a few edits; but otherwise think the rosters look really good!!

I also downloaded a 1999 roster file; that was pretty cool too. I love that the game has so many dedicated roster makers. I used to like to do that; but with family don't have the time anymore.

They keep saying im playing good enough and they know its frustrating but they have no space for me. Im ****ing better then the AA Shortstop

I don't know how you guys put up numbers like that so quickly. I'm a 66 rated SS in AAA with four career HR's in one season in the minors.

I do play on allstar though with guess pitch turned off. Don't know how much of a difference that makes.

A big one. I was playing on easy because the grind of the minors isn't appealing after doing so in previous versions...I wound up having 95 home runs in the minors before I got a call-up...and then I was a pinch hitter because Gaby Sanchez was apparently too valuable to bench.

So I just got traded by the Rockies to the Tigers. Colorado got fleeced.

Me (65OA SP), a 23 year old 2B (80OA) and David Dahl (69OA with A potential) for Omar Infante. I've been tearing it up in AA so far.

So I made it to the Majors and am playing 2nd base for the jays but I keep getting picked off at 1st. Does anyone know how I can make him slide back? Every time I am at first, I take a lead of a step, maybe two, and if they decide to throw back, my player casually walks into the bag, instead of sliding. He gets picked off almost every time, not because I was cheating or didn't react quickly enough (because I am leaning back to the bag) but because he didn't slide back, instead, he casually walked back.

TL;DR: How do you slide back to first on a pick off attempt?

If you have manual sliding on you'll have to use the right analog stick as well. Check and see if assisted base running is on or off.

Can someone explain to me how the budgeting works in the offseason? It said I had about $7 million in pending offers, and about $40 million in available budget. I offered some cheap contracts to free agents that weren't worth any more than $2 million each.

But then I immediately got a message saying I couldn't afford any of those offers? Once Spring Training started I went back and signed those guys to the same contracts anyway and a couple more guys with no problems. Am I missing something here?

Is it just me or was franchise mode dumbed down significantly re:the business side of it?

Can't find the options to get sponsors/upgrade facilities/expenses anymore. Am I missing something?

What?? I'm SS for Rays AA Afilliate. Through not even half the season (started on easy and too much fun to change it) I've spanked 44 hrs, 116 rbis, and a .514ba and still toiling in AA. So pissed.
