Coulda gotten a pick for Giggy as well if they had played him a bit more.

That would have been a terrible, terrible mistake to move Giggy.

I'm kinda hoping they bring him back but I doubt it. If we get one more top six winger, there will probably be 3 or 4 guys battling for two spots on the fourth line. I'd like to see Malone get one of the spots and McLeod will probably get the other one.

let's keep him around, he seems to be one of the few guys in the dressing room to have a pulse.
plus a varly-pickard/kallio tandem would lead me to believe there's a very good chance were in lottery contention next year.

Devils have lost 10 straight.
Nashville has lost 6 straight.
Edmonton has lost 5 straight.
Carolina lost 7 straight before winning last game.

Weird season.

Opening roster spots did wonders for the Sens. If you look at when they had they're ''rebuild year'', only one player is currently playing as a result of a trade: Anderson. Other than that, trading players like fisher and Kelly cleared up spots for the youngsters coming up. good for development if the players are ready.

Someone will probably give Kobasew $1.5M/year this summer. I'm not sure we want to pay a fourth liner that much.

I would't be that upset if we kept him, but I suspect Avs want to open up a spot on the lower lines.

definitely a bad season to go on an extended losing streak, really bad considering how close jersey came to the cup last year.

on that note i wouldn't mind us losing tonight, increasing the red wings chances of falling out and columbus in.

Pretty sure a mod can change it for you. You'd be stuck with it for a while, though.

Jiggy said he has been speaking out for a while now. The media thing was the last straw. So it isn't like he has been sitting on his hands and waiting for things to spiral out of control.

This game should've been canceled. (not because of weather).

It's a 48 game season. He did his speech 38 games into the season really. Truth is, the season isn't long enough to let accumulate the frustration that had built up within JSG. If this is a full season, the avs could easily turn this thing around and make the po after his rant. You can't make those speeches every second game, they won't matter.

I think it's more the public embarrassment that made the team wake up than anything else. No one wants to dog it when the world is watching.

Giguere has spoke out twice publicly about the team's awful play. We don't know how many times him, Landeskog, Stastny, Hejduk, etc gave a speech in the dressing room throughout the season.

McLeod is still McLeod, but he's getting lots of scoring chances playing with O'Reilly and Landeskog.

People up top who we couldn't see on the screen before probably moved down. Or maybe people were just really late because of the weather.
