We are not ''a good team'' we're a team that had everything going for them. The coaching isnt where it should be, the defense is PUTRID and our biggest weakness and now the goaltending is crapping the bed.

Why don't we put Kaberle in the lineup ? Seriously, he wont get hurt for this summer's buyout and is EASILY better than Drewisky, Beaulieu and Bouillon.

And I'm like the biggest Kaberle hater out there.

I would just be happy if we got rid of some not all of the smaller guys that obviously are not able to be physical but should at least have to be more than a .40 to .50 points per game. One of them just signed an extension and plays center.

Gionta should be demoted either on the fourth line OR in the standings.

That doesn't make any sense, only because he's the capitain. Besides, scratching Gionta will accomplish nothing, as he's pretty much our 2nd best defensive forward, all things considered.

I'm all for giving less responsabilities (read, offensive responsibilities) to Gionta, but even as a pure 3rd liner, he'd still be extremely useful for us, at least until the end of the season.

Players I wish are gone next year :
Forwards :
Moen
Gionta
DD

D :
Drewisky
Bouillon
(at least not in regular roster spot).

I realize it wont happen but these players need to GTFO.

3)Completely swap the lines, give everyone a fresh pair of linemates.
4)Bag skate the crap out of this team.

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Ryder
Bourque-Eller/Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Moen-Eller/Galchenyuk-Gionta
Dumont-Halpern-Blunden

Markov-Subban
Gorges-Diaz
Drewiske-Boullion OR Tinordi-Drewiske/Boullion

Price (yes, Price. He needs to prove he's a number one. Face the music and play)
Budaj

This is what I'm talking about. Everybody should earn their minutes. NO EXCUSES!

Just watch that last game of the season against the Leafs be for home ice in round 1. The Habs had their chance to widen their NE division lead but they have failed miserably the past 2 games.

The only problem with Blunden is that Desharnais could give him lessons in balance.

The problem with this is that obviously Moen doesn't have to earn his minutes.

Yes no complaints of both of the Gally's. Wonder if we can find any Gally Dmen.

If anything, that would be the right time to try Desharnais on wing, with Galchenyuk and a revolving door of Prust and whoever will take Prust spot in his absence.

Guys, as a Habs fan who lives in Toronto, I always see comments about antichambre.

What exactly is this? It sounds like some sort of round table discussion about the habs after every game, and has players and coaches on?

MB has done a nice job and started us in the right direction, but when the kids lead your team and thee vets suck...well let's just see how we do in the playoffs. Some disturbing trends:

1. Markov is a shadow of his former self in the D zone.
2. DD is a defensive liability and his size is really killing him; MB signing mistake.
3. Gorges just looks lost out there
4. Moen is also in rapid decline; MB signed him for 4 years at $1.3 million....really
5. Gionta...one year at $4 million; he and Markov will clear $8.5 million after next year
6. White, love the fiestyness, but no discipline.
7. Ryder, yes he can score, but wow he's not worth $4-$5 million on the UFA market

MT has done a masterful job when the boys play within their system because it's becoming apparent they are better than the sum of their parts

If Moen had the wheels he'd still be useful on the forecheck. His defensive play is good and he keeps with the play but if he's not interested in fighting he's getting traded. No way we keep him for four years, no way.

but then again Damphousse is an idiot who can't speak no good and Moen tried to fight Simmonds several times tonight. A lil of Column A a lil of Column B I suppose.
I never trust what this guy said in the past, he seems to have good connection but i doubt he is so well inform.

In the Moen case and all the talks about the fact the guy does not won't to fight, really i don't care about this because he is not a fighter. This guy is average or above average fighter but really... i can't forgive him to not use his shoulders in his game. That's what i can't take, he have to punish the team in front of him using he's shoulders and being involve along the boards.
