A kid line with the 3 players that are hot right now. You only have Gallagher that is small.

Bourque Desharnais Pacioretty

Bourque would play the Cole of last year line and you only have one small player on that line. So you could hide Desharnais's weaknesses while giving him two winger that could score.

Prust Halpern Moen

Grind line... I'd rather Dumont instead of Moen to be honest.

For the d pairing.

Subban Gorges

You over play them 30 min a night.

Markov Drewiske

You play them a lot less then the Markov Emelin pairing. ( 15 min a night )

Bouillion Beaulieu

You play them like you did when the Markov Emelin pairing.
That's good. The Max Pac-DD needed two big guys working hard when Cole was there and adding Bourque would work better. Ryder needs to be back with Plek. And the three kids together would be great.

Chucky and Gally had tons of sparks together before.

We wouldn't give an inch to anyone in the playoffs... provided we put our defensive coverage together in time.

This is why I advocated against making buyer moves at the deadline.. the real Habs were bound to show up at some point.

Bouillon in your top 6 is disasterous.. add in Drewhiske and Beaulieu who is simply not ready yet and things look really ugly. Especially if Price and Budaj show any signs of not being bandits in net.

I admit ,i said we would draft no lower than 8th overall,i was wrong.
We have definetly over achieved, but some players are showing true form.Gionta has a hole in his stick and can no longer shoot the puck, gets pushed off of the puck at will by any player.White has heart but is a liability out there.I still like DD but get him off the PP along with Gionta, that is just old.Georges is a good shot blocker stay at home D,he is not PP material.Moen has lost his MO-JO and it;s time to go.I wont panic and have faith in TT at the draft table. This summer Bergy has to dump at least 3 smurfs and bring in a kick azz D along with a nasty forward because I cant tolerate the Habs getting man-handled by ALL the other teams in the league.

I still have faith
but I want results.

Tired of having our ### s handed to us

Gallagher tied for 1st in rookie scoring.

Not bad at all.

Bergevin's inactions will come to haunt him.

Nope. He was inactive for good reason. This team doesn't have what it takes. I saw it and thankfully he saw it too.

Don't call me another bipolar fan because you can go back to the trade deadline where I repeatedly said we have to see how this team performs in the play-offs before we start making deals like a contender. We've seen this team over-achieve before only to plummet to the earth where they belong.

I'd package Gionta and Weber send them to Colorado for a 2nd round pick with us eating 2.5 million of Gionta's salary.
Moen would be sold to the highest bidder for whatever pick we can get.
I'd move Desharnais for a pick and a solid prospect like Kucherov out of Tampa Bay (they love our ex-players).
Armstrong would not be re-signed.

I'd make a pitch for Clowe, a fighter who can play regular minutes in the bottom four, a rugged penalty kill/face-off specialist, a top 4 defenseman and a skilled player with at least average size.

To everyone who are mad that Bergevin didnt make any deadline move : the Habs werent good enough to win it all this year anyways.

Just go into the playoffs with our roster, see what happens, give our young guns some experience. Then adjust during the summer.

We will never win the Cup with DD AND Gionta in the top6. Look at our D and take off the glasses, it is ****ing putrid.
Subban - Norris caliber, still makes some mistakes but he's a legit top #1D in the league.
Markov - good on the PP, sucks at even strength, cant pinch like back in the days, too slow.
Diaz - injured but he's a legit top 3-4 D, still young and can improve.
Emelin - Same as Diaz really.
Bouillon - Please, I love hometown boys (he's not even from Qc but w/e) as much as any other guy but next year he needs to be out of the top6.
Drewisky - lol.
Beaulieu - lol, not ready. It showed tonight.
Gorges - is terrible this year, was a GOOD top4 D but this year he blows.

You cant reach the SCF with that kind of D.

Aaaaarrrghh...
I hate losing the same type of games to the same type of teams...
Essentially we are screwed with an unbalanced team.
You can't get away with playing small players together,
I would go as far as saying on a unit of five let alone on the forward lines.
This is the NHL a league for men.
Prust will have to replace Gio on our first line.
Ellen will have to take over as number 2.
Galchenyuk should be moved to centre ASAP...
Halpern is fine as 4th.
DD can stay in the press box for all I care.
Spread out the size on the wings as best we can.
Net presence at both ends of the rink wins championships...
Net presence means players completely controlling their space.
We currently have very little of that at either end.
We are on our ***** at about a 5 to 1 ratio.
Not gonna work in this league...
Don't get me started on the D...
