That will be the lone Sunday game, since sked was supposed to complete on Saturday April 27.

Yes, that is what the guys said. The Bruins game will be the only one played on that day.

(although both faced each other so many times it's becoming almost boring to me right now / think I'd rather face Columbus or something)

Sure they're bigger than Habs, they are now, they always been, and probably always will be... but we'll be more than happy to face them in any round if we have to. Sure the (winning) Habs players would be hurt, bruised and whatnot, but hey! if you're not ready for it might as well forfeit.

Like I said it's OK to be scared of the B's, just don't pretend you arent

The fact that your grasping so hard to make it appear other teams are scared of Boston only shows how nervous you really are.

There really isn't any teams scared of Boston this year, You and I both know that.

Never in my life have I seen a small team like that get rewarded for being small like them.Talk about a joke getting that many powerplays,But then again I seen it happen in 1979 and steal a Cup away from Boston. You go into that rink u better practice the PK before hand.

Are Habs fans calling for their coaches head? Saying that they will be "one and done" in the playoffs?

I cannot imagine what this place would be like if the Bruins got manhandled that bad with 11 power plays

Just goes to show you that every team is struggling in one way or another. Not every team can bow out in the first round. Not every GM can fire their coach.

I am pretty sure the Bruins wouldn't score on 11 pps either.

Wondering what's up with the Habs though. PPs are their bread and butter.

Actually both teams were 2/6 on the PP.
You musn't trust nhl.com anymore.

I also saw PHI 2/11 and MTL 2/3 but they corrected it. And the corrected data are still wrong, lol.
nhl.com sucks.

When your goalie allows 8-9 goals in his last 30+ shots, even the best PP can`t bail a team out

Thats because we know if we played eachother there wouldn't be much left of either team after the series, and we have had a hard time with you guys the last few seasons though this season is a bit of a toss up. Prefer the easy route, we could meet 2nd or 3rd round, wouldn't that be better?

That being said if you guys don't start winning some games for us we might even somehow end up with home ice to start...cmon boys.

What...lol!!

The Montreal Canadiens of 1979 were far from small. Robinson, Savard, Engblom, Langway,
Chartraw, Gainey,Lambert, Lafleur & Tremblay were not small.

Not sure he was talking about the 79`s team being small, more about the penalties being called constantly at the wrong time for opponents. Your right, that team was big, and there was a day when some Hab teams played very physical hockey. In the last decade or so, they have gone to smaller skilled players who, well, enjoy a water sport that I won`t mention

You folks should see the Price thread on the Hab board....beautiful stuff

Just watched the replay of NHL Tonight and Kevin Weekes said it was because of Price's new pads.

Thats why I laugh when Habs fans always complain about the refs. They get by far the most PP time in the league. 11 PP's give me a break, they should be thanking the refs every game not criticizing them.

They didn't get 11 powerplays.

Well isn't that special?
The league won't open in Europe next year. What'd they call that? Premier games?

Also, enjoying the Flyers' lame duck resurgence.

I was afraid of this. Six games in one year? Immediately takes away the special nature of the Winter Classic. Such a terrible decision, but then again, the NHL is run, in majority, by stupid individuals.

The whole point is that one time a year we see a spectacle. Now you've got the NY metro teams playing in a 3-day span. The Rangers have two friggin outdoor games in a row!

If we had simply the Winter Classic, and then Vancouver and Ottawa in the Heritage Classic, that would be fine. But the rest of this...such a blatant publicity stunt/money grab. It'll ruin the nature of outdoor games going forward, but the NHL can't be bothered to figure out what's best for its own future.

And LA/ANA in Dodger Stadium? Good luck with the ice in that one dickweeds.

Let's just say, I'm glad the Bruins weren't selected this time.

Now we have reached joke status.

I don't mind the multiple outdoor games. Probably because we had our special one. If we hadn't had it yet and didn't have it on New Years day, I'd be pissed.

Looks like the Caps are having their way with Toronto. Nice!

To those bashing the LA game, not that I'm supporting the idea, I think it's overkill, but you guys realize the first outdoor game in the NHL was in vegas, right?
