Since Phoenix was looking for a Number 1 Centerman in any deal to move Yandle. That deal was a joke from Edmonton. First off Phoenix pretty much has said that they wont trade Yandle within the Wesern Conference, Why would Yandle want to play for Edmonton any ways there a joke. There building there team based on 1st rd picks yeah that never works and no wonder there always at the bottom.

I would take your posts more seriously if there were any coherent thoughts, use of grammar, and solid points that didn't rely on flaming.

He ranks 7th in quality of competition among PHX Dmen in each of the last 3 years.

Think about that. Their 7th Dman, faces tougher competition. He is not anywhere close to a top-pairing Dman.

Considering the wealth of d that the yotes have in the minors they should deifnately trade yandle. Doesn't mean they should give him away but if they can turn him into a legit top 6 forward with top 3 potential they should.

Smid and Petry are our shut down pair anyway. Its not uncommon for your best players to have what looks like a poor qualcomp rating, which is why the rating in itself is kind of poor. I'm betting Eberle's qualcomp isn't good either, but that doesn't mean he's not a top line forward.

I cant see Eberle being happy getting traded. his best friend is Hall.

You trade one, and they will both stop caring and basically pout for a few months.

Plus i dont see Eberle succeeding in Phoenix. They would want RNH and i dont think Edmonton will ever deal him.

You've just proven that you don't know your backside from your elbow. Both are professonials, they wouldn't pack it in just because they were traded. Might they not like it? Maybe, but that's their profession. Edmonton won't deal RNH without OEL coming back, so let's just leave that one alone. If Phoenix wants a center, Gagner is certainly available in a deal for Yandle, should they feel Gagner + would fit better than Eberle. And I know for a fact that the Oilers would prefer that too.

I'd invite you to look at the number of D who had more even strength points than Yandle last year. Hint: there are only four, and they probably won't surprise you.

It took about two and a half years and my best Cato the Censor impersonation Carthago delenda est! to get them to finally shut up about Ryan Johansen.

I rather imagine it's just as frustrating for the Oil fans who do not share in that insanity yet are nonetheless obliged to answer for the conduct of their peers. We all have our crazies we have to answer for.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
