Eliteprospects has that Phoenix has sold these four players: Steve Sullivan to NJ Devils, Rafi Torres to SJ Sharks, Matthew Lombardi to Anaheim Ducks and Joel Rechlicz to Washington Capitals in trade of some lesser known players and draft picks.
So definitely less competition for Mikkel Bødker.

Is Eller Degressing, does he need to go back to the doghouse?

Anywho Eller is not a the most popular guy over on the habs board anymore..
Congratulations to Oliver with his first point and another win!
Yeah Eller really has hit a slump big time. -4 and no points (epic bad game?). 2 assists the last 9 games.
Sounds like he has a real rollercoster season.

Philip Larsen also had a bad game and was -2 in Dallas' 2-5 loss to Anaheim.

Dallas: Selling big time. So far mostly forward for young D. VikingNuck maybe be able to elaborate but from the scouting reports both Connauton and Gauce seems like offensive minded D-men with some size.

Not sure if/how this effects Philip Larsen but as a sheer numbers game he's now up against Oleksiak, Nemeth, Morrow, Dillon, Connauton, Gauce and some other long shots(Vance, Klingberg, Jokipakka) for the spots next the core of Daley and Goligoski + Benn + 2 more years of Rome and it's starting to look some what tight there. Let's see if the sell of some piece.
It really seems difficult for him and he hasn't had it easy in Dallas. Apparently lost some confidence that he build up in Lukko.
Fortunately for him a lot of the Dallas-defence have had troubles, so it explains why he is still playing games.

Great night! 2 points for Eller and Boedker, 1 for Frans Nielsen and Jannik Hansen and a win for Oliver Lauridsen...

Boedker took back his title as the most scoring Dane:

Mikkel Boedker 23p in 37g
Jannik Hansen 22p in 36g
Frans Nielsen 22p in 38g
Lars Eller 19p in 35g
Philip Larsen 3p in 20g
Peter Regin 3p in 24g
Oliver Lauridsen 1p in 4g
Nicklas Jensen 0p in 2g

Looking at the top 4.. The rest of the pack has a game more than Frans Nielsen to play but he seem to be a bit hotter then the rest right now. I'd put my money on him or Boedker for the one with most point when the regular season is over right now... but it's getting close

Yeah Frans Nielsen really produces a lot of points now, BUT he missed another penalty. So after two shootout goals he now has two shootout misses in a row. So down to "only" 50% this year. Bødker and Lars Eller haven't produced much lately, so based on current form it looks like Frans Nielsen and Jannik Hansen might run with the laurels. But it can change so fast....
Impressed with Oliver Lauridsen - 4 wins nows and being +1 tonight playing 17 min.
Good to see danish production...but still way more assists than goals!

So Philadelphia's winning streak ending and Oliver Lauridsen had his first bad game. He was -3 in a 4-1 loss to Winnipeg.
Amazingly NY Islanders is still hanging on in the playoff race with a 4-1 win over Carolina. Frans Nielsen had 1 assist.
Phoenix won 4-0 over Colorado and Mikkel Bødker finally got a goal when he scored to 1-0.
Lars Eller was without points but Montreal won 2-1 over Boston and Jannik Hansen was also pointless in Vancouver 5-2 win over Calgary.

Nicklas Jensen was send back to AHL after his two matches.
Frederik Andersen had another shootout for Norfolk Admirals (his 4'th) and also got an assist. He is GAA: 2,08 and SVS: 93,2%.

Yes. Or no. Well yes. I think it's best described as one of those days in P.E. where you couldn't catch a ball to save your life

When it comes to coverage of forwards in front of the net him and Rome just do NOT think alike They look more surprised than anybody else when their D-partner makes a decision

It generally seems like Dallas D-coverage is decisions made play-by-play. No system at all. Or a very complex one. And since he can't physically manhandle his way out of trouble he's gonna look silly sometime.

That and he seems mentally checked out some times. It's not that last night was something new. There just isn't sign of progress

A quite WC and a new coach should do him good. And a real pre-season camp If he last the team that long. Logjam next at Dallas D next year.

Back in Denmark again and able to report that both Philip Larsen and Mikkel Bødker both got an assist last night.
Dallas and Phoenix is 9+10'th in the western conference, but still have a chance of a playoff spot.
Peter Regin was benched again, so he had played very little the last couple of games.

Dallas 1 point down, 1 game in hand and on a four game winning streak... It's possible with 5 Danes!

NY Islanders lost 0-1 in OT to NY Rangers and both are still in the playoff-race with Winnipeg in the eastern conference spot 7-9. Frans Nielsen was +0.
Vancouver lost 3-4 to Colorado with 1G for Jannik Hansen and +1.
Montreal lost 1-5 to Toronto. No points and -1 for Lars Eller.
Philadelphia lost 0-1 to Buffalo and Oliver Lauridsen was -1 (and received a good beating as well).
Dallas won 2-1 over San Jose and Philip Larsen was +0.
Dallas is now 8'th in the western conference but its very tight from and Phoenix still have a chance even if they are only 11'th.

Another danish nights with assists, but no goals.
Oliver Lauridsen met Lars Eller and came out victorious, both danes got noticed for their penalties. Oliver Lauridsen has even back-to-back penalties for cross checking and the last one was on Lars Eller! Lars Eller bounced back in the dirty department at game-end with a 5min slashing and game misconduct on Eric Gustafsson. Oliver Lauridsen was +1 and Lars Eller has 1 assist but was -2 in the Philadelphia 7-3 win over Montreal.
Philip Larsen was also -2 in Dallas' 2-5 defeat against Chicago. Dallas lost very valuable points in the playoff race there.
Mikkel Bødker also got -2 in Phoenix 0-4 defeat against San Jose.
So maybe both Philip Larsen and Mikkel Bødker will go to WC, since both their teams are now trailing Detroit and Columbus (8-9th in western conference).
Jannik Hansen got 2 assists and was +1 in the Vancouver 5-2 win over Nashville.

IMO Phoenix' out of it. 4 points down and behind on ROWs with three teams to crawl above. Dallas has the ROWs going for them so they'll need a point less than the rest. But their schedule is a bit tough. Columbus has picked up some momentum and has the strongest home ice. Detroit is Detroit.

Boedker should be home for sure. Would be very reasonable for Philip Larsen if Dallas just missed the playoffs(All though it would suck big time for Dallas... for like the third or fourth year in a row). So win-win in his case. Unlike his club. Loose-loose for them.

I`m not asking specifically you Bank(but if you canb answer would be great),knowing your stance on WC ,but can someone answer me this- has there been an instance of danish players refusing to play for NT(saying they are tired or dont want to play)? like high-end guys like Boeds,Larsen etc ?

Well actually... I remember Jannik Hansen played injured in the playoff for the 'Nucks and when they got kicked out he didn't come home to the NT. Wasn't that a thing some years ago?

The only time danish players have said no to WC is because of injury, according to my memory. Especially in 2011 where Denmark was cursed with many injuries to our NHL players.

NY Islanders moved closer to the playoff with a 5-2 victory over Florida. Frans Nielsen got 1 assist and was +0.

Philadelphia won 4-2 over NY Rangers, which will help Islanders chances a lot. Oliver Lauridsen was -1, but played 20 min!
Zuccarello scored his first regular goal for the Rangers.

Vancouver lost 1-2 to St. Louis after a shootout. Jannik Hansen had no points and was -1.

Ottawa, without Peter Regin again, won 3-2 over Carolina.

Well, he was playing injured in the Stanley Cup playoffs and so turned down the invitation to play in the World Champs. IIRC, he was also without a contract after the season. At the time he said no, he was still playing in the playoffs and so couldn't very well come out and say: 'I won't play for the NT because I have X injury.' Some people took offense to him seemingly turning down the NT without an injury. The whole time, I'm sure the NT leaders knew the real reason, so it was never a problem from their perspective.

Lars Eller with 2 assists last night and +2 in Montreal's 4-6 defeat to Pittsburgh.

So the point race is extremely close between the top4 danish players.
Mikkel Bødker 25 points (7-18) in 42 games.
Frans Nielsen 25 points (4-21) in 43 games.
Jannik Hansen 24 points (9-15) in 42 games.
Lars Eller 24 points (6-18) in 41 games.

Clearly a danish trends with more assists than goals.

Frans Nielsen scored one of his rare goals this season and was +1 in NY Islanders 5-3 victory over Toronto.
Lars Eller got no points and was +1 in Montreal's 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Ottawa won 3-1 over Washington and was again without Peter Regin who basically hasn't played all April.
Oliver Lauridsen was -1 in Philadelphia's 0-3 loss to New Jersey.
Mikkel Bødker was -1 in the 1-2 shootout defeat to St. Louis. Phoenix is with all likelyhood out of the playoff race now.
Dallas on the contrary are still in after a 5-1 victory over Vancouver. Philip Larsen got 1 assist and was +1, while Jannik Hansen also got an assist was also was +1.

NY Islanders keeps winning. Won 5-4 in shootout over Winnipeg. Frans Nielsen had tonights only danish points: 1G 1A (+0) and was 2'nd Star but missed his shootout attempt. After scoring on the first two this season, he has now missed 3 in a row.
Montreal gets another big loss. 1-5 against Washington. Lars Eller was -1.
Ottawa still without Peter Regin lost 4-1 to Toronto and is still not certain of a playoff spot.
Oliver Lauridsen had a shaky night being -2 even though Philadelphia won 5-3 over Carolina.
Mikkel Bødker was +1 and scored in his shootout attempt in Phoenix' 3-2 SO win over Chicago. Still a small chance for playoffs.
Vancouver won 2-1 in SO over Detroit. Jannik Hansen was -1.
