Powe - Boyle - Dorsett could be a pretty pesky line to play against. Him and Staal coming back in time for the playoffs will be huge for us.

http://www.newsday.com/sports/column...gers-1.5068610 Saw this in the paper this morning, also put it in the injury thread but figured it could go here to as it speaks to Dorsett's character. Sounds like an awesome team guy.

Everyone's assuming it will be Pyatt coming out of the lineup. Pyatt hasn't been a healthy scratch this season, both Powe and Asham have.

Sounds right on schedule. Maybe a touch faster than initially anticipated. Once he gets on the ice, Rangers fans will enjoy him. Even though I felt he was expendable, he was definitely a key figure in setting the tone for the CBJ turnaround this season.

All the more reason why Pyatt is due for a scratch.

Ill take Pyatt over Asham. And Dorsett over everyone on our 4th line. Powe shouldn't sit either.

Really? Pyatt over Asham?? Rationale for that? I totally agree Powe shouldn't sit either. Guy has a motor and seems to bring it every shift. Pyatt has seemed to have lost all confidence, can't control the puck, doesn't use his size anymore, slowest guy on that 4th line, etc...

Get well soon Dorsie, I heard Pyatt steps up his game in the playoffs, we will see. He might have already played himself off the squad.

Looks like Dorsett wasn't cleared for contact after all.

If he hasn't stepped up during this recent stretch, I have no reason to believe he will in the playoffs. The last few games and the games coming up are playoff-type games.

But he has no game. He'll be stepping up nothing. It's like multiplying by zero

Asham has more talent in his skate blade than Pyatt has in his entire body.

I would bet that it would be Asham that comes out if everyone is healthy at once. Wouldn't rule out Pyatt or Powe, either.

I hope Asham stays in. Pyatt should come out, easily. Boyle, IMO, will be the 4th line center. Dorsett is the better offensive player.

Better offensive play than Boyle?

Powe needs to stay in for his PK prowess. Without him in the lineup, our PK percentage dipped significantly.

Also, maybe it's just me, but I think it would be asinine to take Asham out of the lineup over Pyatt.

Not just you, I think so as well. Pyatt, although he played better against the Isles, still is nowhere close to taking a spot over Asham.

I think Pyatt is just there. Doesn't suck but isn't necessarily good. I believe Asham stays in because be has somewhat more value. Tougher and bigger. Sometimes has a move. Dorsett is pretty good big guy too

I've seen Dorsett listed at both 5'11" and 6'. I think he's more like 5'11". Either way, he's not really a "big guy." Solid, strong, but not big to any noteworthy degree.
