... Yet where did we go with the mighty Kaberle on board ? It was a bad, bad, bad move.

He helped our PP, not his fault that Gionta got hurt, Cammalleri forced a trade, Bourque was playing hurt and nobody bought in to Cunneyworth's system.

He IS a terrible goalie. You know how one is considered a good positional goalie if the puck just hits you. That is not at all how pucks just hit him. He puts himself in the wrong position and shooters miss the shot, that sort of thing. NEver knows where the puck is. Has made some hilariously bad save attempts, but still luck is luck and just like their S%, it's gone on long enough that it's starting to be objectively...sustainable. I don't see why in another 6 games, it'll all of a sudden collapse.

That and for the most part, I think they're loaded up on franc-tireurs. They can wire shots to the back of the net top corner. Can't remember last time we did that. High and wide. I think it's just a practice things and I know they DO practice shooting a LOT.

But yeah, Reimer is not sustainable.

The habs were (might still be) the best 1st period team and scored the 1st goal the most.

Just because we all hate Toronto doesn't mean they're going to go back to sucking just like that.

Obviously Lupul won't be able to keep up his scoring and I'd say Kadri drops off a bit, but I don't see them going crashing down to the bottom of the league again.

It has nothing to do with hating the Leafs and a lot to do with being constantly outshot and outposessed by high margins and winning due to absurdly high shooting %s and Reimer.

I don't think the Leafs are a bad team anymore. I don't think they are a good team either. They are basically the Jacques Martin Habs with goons and an elite winger in Phil Kessel.

Though Reimer this year reminds me of Theodore more than Price or Halak.

#Habs fans have booed, among others: Vézina, Hainsworth, Durnan, Plante, Worsley, Dryden & Roy #allyouneedtoknow

Hasek is out of reach now but need to trade for Brodeur badly.

EDIT: How do you make the post smaller, I tried the double blue arrows already

Leafs are making the right moves. Starting this offseason, they added a bevy of quality players, most big. While we add very little. They retooled their team with physical players which should serve them well in the playoffs.
We get Drew (nobody) while Leafs get RO (very physical)..

Lets be honest- their GM is much smarter than ours.

The same Ryan O'Byrne who took 3 minor penalties yesterday!
Had the NJD scored on any of those penatlies, you wouldn't be saying this.

I take Drewiske over O'byrne every day of the week imo

Leafs outshot 8 to 2 to start another game.

But of course according to Habs fans here, we are the fluke and they are the real deal.

The Panthers are so good at tanking. It's like an art for them. That being said I'd hate to play the Islanders in the playoffs.

And once again the Leafs are giving up twice as many shots as their opponent. But we are the fluke.

Would be hilarious if somehow the Leafs completely **** the bed for the rest of the season and the last game of the season against us is what decides if they get into the playoffs

Mason has been solid, should we swap price for him?

The Leafs are getting crushed. It feels good to watch after the last two games.

Well, only the last week matters, right? So he must be better than Price.

You know what's gonna happen ?

In the last game, the Leafs will beat the Habs - again - and finishes ahead of us.

All O'Byrne can do with a puck is throw it on the glass. I guess he'll do Ok on a dump and chase team, but he would suck in our transition game.

I'll admit though that I haven't watched him play last 2 years, so he might have gained confidence and learned to make a pass.
