Glad you're okay. Didn't know how close you are to Boston.

I'll be there Friday. I go with friends every year. You can't beat free tickets and a great day at the track/beach.

They're probably fighting over who gets to claim credit for it.

Hope everyone in Boston is ok. I lived in the DC area when the pentagon got hit, this sort of thing is horrible.

The back of my mind wonders if North Korea was really stupid enough to try something like this. I really hope they weren't.

Yay for Grand Prix weekend 3 miles from home this weekend

How much are the beers at your place? Are they cheaper on Friday? What do you charge for parking?

You buy the beer and I'll save you a spot on the street.

So it looks like if you buy the beer, I can park in my usual spot, you can have the preferred spot and we can all be happy with the end result?

On a somewhat on-topic issues, does anybody know possible playoff dates yet? I want to buy tickets but the actual day(s) could be important to being available.

We aren't at the Grand Prix.... You'd still have to take a bus from where we live to the track.

I know it all depends on teams and building availability and TV but has the league even announced the day of the first games?

OCR subscription means almost total media blackout regarding Ducks. Great.

Is that really any much different than before? Nothing newsworthy ever came out of the OCR related to the Ducks or hockey.

I like reading Eric Stephens articles, even thought I might disagree with him sometimes, and interview's.

I would read Stephens stuff too, but it was hardly ever breaking news. Not a whole lot different than reading opinions here. He sure didn't seem to leak any good info.

His tweets that get posted here probably cover 95% of what he ever published in the OCR.

I find it absolutely revolting that we can't have a moment of silence for the victims in Boston. What has this board come to? I understand everyone has a busy life but really?

We just got attacked no less than 24 hours ago

My cousin was one of the many that is leg less right now at the marathon. So I am very pissed off and maybe I shouldn't be posting. But this truly a tragic event for the American community.
