This, Flyers fans say he is a big reason, along with defense as to why they're struggling.

I'm sorry but a goalie with .897 save percentage isn't your team MVP when you have two PPG players on the same roster.

Dat Philly defense...eeesh. I can actually see this being a shootout, something like a 4 or 5-3 game

Going to the game tonight with a bunch of friends from school, unfortunately mostly Flyers fans. Still, first game I've been to in a long while, can't wait! Let's hope it goes well for us. LGR!!

Who takes his spot tonight? I want to see the beautiful defense we'll be seeing tonight.

Of course we get Philly when they are peaking in the season after just destroying the Habs yesterday

It's not like the Habs are this super amazing team. The Rangers just couldn't beat them to save their lives. We always play well against Philly, I don't see why tonight should be any different

Don't see Lundqvist giving up three goals considering how big of a game this is, plus the way he played against the Isles. Score first and the Rangers win.

Was just about to post.

3-4 defensemen that wouldn't make our team. Plus Steve Mason in net. I'll be pissed if we lose this one.

Hank better pad his stats tonight!

Maybe you thought that because that's who MSG said the next game they broadcast will be against.

Stay out of the box should be the game motto even more than usual. I think a majority of the Flyers goals against us this year are powerplay goals

Yeah our defense is something magic, of course. It is AHL defense with Timonen and Schenn. Gotta tell you Steve Mason has been really great in the games where he played for us, watch out for him. I think he's going to have tremendous game again. Unfortunately for him, he got the play toughest opponent in the opposite net.

No one in this thread should underestimate their defense, or their goaltender, or the Flyers in general. Anyone who does is an idiot.

The Flyers put up 7 last night against Montreal, and Price who's been lights out all year.

You never underestimate ANY NHL team, especially a division rival.

This is going to be a tough game tonight. Must win.

I couldn't possibly underestimate their defense. My expectations are a negative.

I don't expect Hank to pad his stats, I expect our offense to pad theirs.

It'll be a joke if they can't score more than 2. Pathetic.

Get Hank a comfortable lead for once.

On a team that's struggled all year, Fedotenko has played all 42 games and is a team high +7. Everyone talks about how our bottom 6 is missing the play of Prust, but I'd take Feds on our 3rd or 4th line any day.
