I doubt they had much say. I'm sure Boston PD informed the NHL that they would be unable to support the game.

Devils have out shot their opponents something like 64-24 in the past two games and been outscored 4-0. Could have sworn their fans were claiming they'd be even better without that ******* traitor Parise.

They've outshot their opponents in 21 of their last 23 games, and they have lost a ton.

Marty still stuck on 666 wins and 10 losses in a row for the team

On NHL Network, they were interviewing Matt Cullen (Minn), and posed the question of what he thought was the key to the Wild's win against Calgary. I swear I thought I heard him say, "I think we put more pucks in the net tonight."

Another win for Bob.....

Interesting to see what he does for Columbus if they get into the playoffs which he's been an instrumental part of thus far...

The novelty was fun while it lasted. Now that they've proven that these outdoor games are a licence to print money, no reason not to do it.

The season after will herald in the "NHL Plays Outside" day, and EVERYBODY gets an outdoor game. They'll do roller hockey in San Jose and Tampa Bay, the Mile-High Snow Game in Denver, and games on makeshift "rinks" in city squares. Gary Bettman and the owners will stuff their bank accounts as the rest of the sports world rolls their collective eyes.

I've been half-watching the STL-VAN game tonight - the Canucks are insane, in every single scrum they're trying to go 2 on 1; Backes and Ballard dropped the gloves and were ready to go and Burrows suddenly jumped in. Now in the late 3rd it gets even worse... Interesting physical game so far though

Pretty annoyed they could not have one in BC the year after... hopefully moving to Vancouver next may so will miss it by 2 months!

But 6 outdoor games?! That is silly, 2 should be the max.
