It's amazing how much better you play with effort, huh

Yeah, I know. I just don't like how we only have one reliable person for faceoffs.

The reinforcements to the reinforcements or just the reinforcements?

Gustafsson has played well. Lauridsen has played a feisty game.

Tavares has 42 points in 43 games. Giroux has 44 points in 43 games. Tavares is given way more offensive opportunities than Giroux and plays on the better of the two teams.

I like JT but its crazy how much people overrate him just because of his potential.

Couts was insanely good on the dot in juniors... honestly, they don't keep stats, but my guess is 58%+...

In the NHL the average centre improves by about 8% from first year to 4th, lowest increase being maybe 4% and highest 12-14%, so Couts should be about 54% when fully developed, Schenn will probably be 50%-52%.

EDIT: But yeh, not much good atm, 2-3 years down the line is worth jack.

Well having Hall here makes two. I'd like to see the Flyers sign him to a 1 year deal but I doubt they do since Laughton is most likely making the team next year. All the center spots will be filled.

If they continue to expand the former uniqueness of the event then perhaps that could be the eventual death knell to the All-Star Game.

Someone on the main boards argued with me that Benn would break 100 pts in the next year or two. The guy's highest point season so far is 63 pts in 71 games and he's randomly making nearly a 40 point jump? Nah, not happening.

Yeah I like Benn too but his style of play doesn't translate to a 100 point player. I could see him as a 40/40 guy during a career year at best.

30/30 is probably more reasonable. I find it really hard for anybody who isn't an Isles fan to see that G is superior, even though JT is great
