We got 1st last year.

What else has torts accomplished here? Missed playoffs and first round exits.

This is all that needs to be said. NHL Coaches come and go, lets not act like losing torts will send this franchise back 5 years.

That was literally the most mentally challenged thing I've seen all day.

Step 1: Bench Rick Nash
Step 2: Put Dan Girardi on
Step 3: Stop everyone at the opposition blue line
Step 4: Get Girardi to dump and chase all by himself
You put out a non-PP shutdown D man who blocks shots and he is in deep 200 feet away chasing after a puck that's going to be on opposition stick 2/3 times?
Step 5: Switch Stepan with Richards because damn that Derek Stepan for being our best player this year.
didn't you hear? Torts said Girardi has more offensive potential than we know.

Slats basically gave Clown Cakes a roster which he wanted all along. No more excuses for this clownish orangutang.

How the hell can Clowe and Brassard look great with no practice time against the Penguins and then after they start playing the "system", they generally look like crap?

That has to be on Tortorella.

Of course not when you can simply print a photo of his face.

The guy was abused in the Islander game with no response. Put Clowe on his line. At least he will give some of the abuse back.

His Cocky and Condescending Attitude in the Post Games......coupled with the fact that he practices Zero Offense and that his Stone Age system pretty much suffocates any creativity and skill we may have. Look at Nash the first few games this year.....All-World Plays and Highlight Reel Goals. Not much since Torts has had a chance to coach him. Brassard and Clowe as well. Looked like Gretzky and Lucic in Game 1, but not much since Torts instilled his "System" in them

It's just a feeling. Glenn isn't shy of making moves to get the winning team in place. If we miss the playoffs, Torts is most likely gone. If we lose early on in the PO, there's a 30% chance.

Torts isn't going to win a cup in NY. That's my confident statement and I'm not just saying this because there's no way to refute it right now. Last year was when everything fell into place and we played fantastic, Henrik played fantastic, we won 3 do or die games and still came up short.

If the Rangers stopped trying to kill penalties while on the powerplay, they might actually create...scoring chances. Scratch that idea. lol @ arguing for calls though. What? Need to practice dumping the puck in without chasing it down?

According to advanced stats from last game, Dan Girardi is on pace for 7 game winning goals.

I want a Tortorella fathead.

I'm getting a SKS sometime in early May and would like something for target practice while adjusting the sights.
