God damnit that fight was one of the best I've seen in years. Asham is such a best.

We get Drew (nobody) while Leafs get RO (very physical)..

Lets be honest- their GM is much smarter than ours.

Both Dman are 6-7th. Really wouldn't change anything if RO was here instead of Drew.

You rather O'Byrne. Fine with me, it's not much of a deal dude.
I find he is caught of position way more often than Drewiske is.
Also, Drewiske actually knows how to pass a puck (outlet pass) compared to O'Byrne. Are you watching the game against Washington right now?
O'Byrne's not that great, some would think it's a bad game, but I feel like there's ALWAYS something wrong in each game.
For example, yesterday he took 3 penalties, all cross-checking if I remember correctly.

In the end, they are supposed to be #6-7 D-men, so whatever.
The problem with Drewiske right now is the fact that he is playing too many minutes and this was not in the plans.
As soon as Diaz comes back, Drewiske should be fine.

I'll admit though that I haven't watched him play last 2 years, so he might have gained confidence and learned to make a pass.
You explained it better than I did in 8 lines.
The idea of an outlet pass in O'Byrne's game is non-existant.

Feels good, man.

Because nobody wants to make kneejerk reactions about the might Maple Leafs like they do about the Habs, who can be written off after 2 bad games.

Talking about Knee-jerk... The Flyers are on their way to win a second game! They scored 10 in 5 period.... Damn, I think they might make a run.

I am still fuming that the Leafs didn't trade for Clowe, Murray, Iginla and Gretzky. This is their year. What if they don't make the play-offs ever again? They MUST trade everything to go for it all this year.

I'm still bitter about Jean-Gabriel Pageau. Habs wanted to draft him but waited and waited and he was then gone. He's going to be a good NHLer. He has the drive and talent. It was stupid thinking Ottawa would pass over him in the 4th round. Habs should have kept their 3rd rounder and drafted him.

I hope Josiah Didier will be worth it because I'm sure Olivier Archambault won't...

Oh ****, just saw the result of the toronto game.

Feeling a little happier. Now they know **** happens.

What am I saying, they'll never realize that.

Bos-Ott game at season's end. Our last and their last could decide 2, 4, 5, 6! let's hope we clinch it by going on a roll. We should have the motivation.

I knew Montreal and Boston were inches away for the top NE spot, didn't notice how Toronto and Ottawa were close as well.

Montreal - 57pts - 6 games left
Boston - 56pts - 7 games left
Toronto - 53 pts - 5 games left
Ottawa - 50 pts* - 6 games left

*Ottawa is at 48 pts at this moment, but have a 2 goal lead against Carolina with a few minutes to go

Division matchups remaining :

Montreal @ Toronto
Ottawa @ Boston
Toronto @ Ottawa

If we don't finish 2nd, we are guaranteed playing one of these 3 teams.

How are Bergeron and Marchand coming along. I guess they got a few extra days to rest up (not complaining, not at all). Good to be able to rest concussed players and not have to rush them back. Is the Yeti playing in their next game? Who do they take out, Bartkowski?

Anyone think that the GM change in Edmonton was kind of pathetic?

I think they are running around in circles....

When something isn't working you've got to change it up....

McTavish is a good guy and all but he lost the dressing room in Edmonton a few years back.......

Time to change the way the head office thinks....

It's so annoying how they wouldn't bring someone fresh in, just reuse a guy that's been part of the organization many times...

I'm actually watching Edm play Min atm.. and it's so ****ing frustrating to see them play pretty well, and just break down and allow a goal ezpz-like,,
I know that has nothing to do with MacT, but I honestly don't see him bringing anything new
But to early to judge I guess..

I'm pretty sure I heard today that for Toronto to clinch they needed a win and a Winnipeg loss in regulation. Leafs are 0 for 2 tonight. They lost and the Jets are going to a shoot-out, so they picked up a point.

Caps are just killing it right now. 9-0-1 in their last 10 and have won 8 in a row. That number 6 seed is not going to have it so easy anymore.

Why the hell couldn't we have played the Caps more when they sucked?

But Mr. Vezina wasn't in net. Doesn't count.

That deke on Gardiner by Ovi - holy...mackinaw? Was gross. Hope Chucky will develop the confidence to pull those off.

So Antoine Laganiere signed with Anaheim. That kind of sucks. I was hoping Habs would get him.
