I Like the big wooden doors they put at the entrance to the room, it gives it more of a prestigious, regal feel. The carpet looks kinda corny to me though, the ice surface design is like something you'd find in a little kid's bedroom, they should just but a big CH istead. Lotta names there that we won't be seeing anymore too...

Savard for sure, Langway is a strong possibility.

EDIT: Langway is in the HOF, isn't he? and I don't see him anywhere else, so it has to be him.

yup they use oversized lego figuirines and carboneau uses a stick like the one they use in craps to move the chips to move the lego characters around the board

using a croupier stick like the one above, he places the players on that ice serface and moves them around

Thought it was funny if it was them, since they both had their best years on other teams.

I think putting Savard and Langway up there is a way of acknowledging past mistakes that cost the team dealy, i.e. the trading of Langway and not drafting Savard.

I didn't know they had put Denis Savard's portrait up there.

You know, I wonder how many players gave it an extra effort in '93 to give this guy a cup, it's no different than how the guys in Colorado hustled to give one to Bourque. Pretty similar in fact: Superstar A-Class players who were faithful to greedy unworthy owners and went elsewhere to win the cup at the last possible minute.

But unlike Raymond Bourque who will forever be a Bruin in my mind (And a Bruin we can all respect on top of that, not many of those!), Savard....the Blackhawks were forgettable even when he was there, at least you felt the Bruins were trying they did have Neely and Oates and the likes, Wirtz & the Blackhawks didn't, so when I think about Denis Savard, do I really want to associate him with the forgettable Hawks & Wirtz, or with the Habs?

I say Habs. It's a particular case.

Langway for me is more of a Capital than he is a Hab.

Somebody should carve Michael Ryder's entry under the Calder Trophy listing, it's missing.

It's not because the voters missed the boat than the Habs have to.

In my opinion Raycroft is up there with Lindros, McLaren, Lapointe & Avery when it comes to being mortal enemies of the Habs.

We all know he bribed to win it. We ALL know.

That was the only time I was ever actually pissed off at an awards ceremony. We all knew Ryder deserved it.

The brown placards at the end of the dressing room, are they opening day rosters for every year, or what?

Meh, it's probably been saving us a few hundred thousands in cap space.

The coach isn't drawing up plays on a carpet.
