Kravchuk said earlier that Shestyorkin is no.1. I guess Serebryakov regressed in CHL. I dont have any other explanation.

could have regressed in the CHL (very likely - little PT, different style he has to learn a new basically), or Shestyorkin could have made strides this year, or both (most likely)

As a season ticket holder in Saginaw, I had the ability to watch Nikita throughout the year. As a rookie in the OHL he did see limited ice time but did play in 20 games or so. That is not unusual in this league, especially when you are back up to an NHL drafted goaltender good enough to earn a spot on the Canadian WJ team this past year. The fans of Saginaw love his style of play and are extremely encouraged with the potential he has shown. His development may have taken a hit this year because of the circumstances he faced but when its all said and done, good things will come to those who wait

yes, that's true, and noone guarantees he'd beat Bocharov (who's played 47 games this season) for a starting position in MVD either, but the way things stood, he would have had a great chance. This year his game and development took a hit, whilst it didn't have to.

He would and IMO he would play VHL as well.

Looks like Carl Dahlstrom is probably out (concussion), while Rydberg has more chances to play the U18?

Sounds like VCR is fine. Coaches were not too happy about the hit though, could render in a long suspension according to them. Dahlström got a severe concussion so he's out of the tournament, that was more a result of an accidental play.

if not for injuries, he'd still be very much in the picture.

I've got links to the rosters in OP, only small cuts to be made. Official rosters are probably to be set tomorrow and some countries might leave some spots open.

There has been one change to the German roster. Instead of Nico Sturm, who was injured in a pre-tournament game vs. Finland on Monday, Denis Shevyrin will be playing.

I expect eliteprospects will update the rosters once the tournament starts.

Yep, it seems like the rosters are up (except for Russia).

Best 3 Fs from MHL season 2011/12 - Barbashev, Tolchintsky, Goldobin - now playing CHL.

Where is Goldobin?? CHL not good enough? Btw, he would play KHL this season.

fil11

Dont know if top 5, but I would take a look at Svechnikov (96) and Setdikov, who made a huge progress. Both guys of Russkie Vityazi Chekhov are good, were good last season as well (in line with Goldobin)

No Goldobin. I thought he would be in the roster. But he still have a chance to be there. If Kravchuck goes with 7+13.
Another cuts is Sergeev and Stetsenko who suspended for two games.

A bit surprised about Goldobin, but I haven't seen a lot of the other guys who could be stronger candidates than him. It'll be interesting what kind of Roster Kravchuk sees, from what I heard he is a demanding coach when it comes to defensive responsibilities.

I'm not sure about availability for the international viewers, but some games will be available here, in HD. Starting with Latvia-Finland in less than an hour. And for Russia game there will be two versions National and International, with national version being more focused on Russian players.

And yes, that's all is official/legal.
